My best friend in the entire world is Cuban, and she constantly - CONSTANTLY - makes fun of me for being “the whitest person she’s ever met” because I’m not huge into spicy food. Like, I like what I like, you know?
(Edit: after consulting with said friend - she texted me to yell at me about misconceptions of Cuban food being spicy, but it’s cool, she totes loves me guys don’t worry - I want to make clear that when I say “spicy” I also mean “made with a bunch of spices”, not just spicy hot, just for clarification. I am bland pick-pepperoni-off-of-pizza-guy, it’s who I am.)

Well, for me, my top three apps are divided into two categories:
1. Messenger. I can use Facebook messenger and texts and shit in the same place.
2. WhatsApp. This is what I use to send nice messages to @imkait so that she can ignore me.
3. Tumblr. Sad, but true.

49:Top 3 favorite literary devices:
1. Foreshadowing. Foreshadowing foreshadowing foreshadowing. Because when I reread, I love coming back and looking at things and saying “HOLY FUCK THIS IS SO OBVIOUS NOW IN RETROSPECT OH MY GOD HOW DID I MISS IT”.
2. Alliteration. I’m a sucker for Alliteration. A lot of it is because of comics, and seeing the shit that they did with names… J. Jonah Jameson, Lex Luther, Doctor Doom, Lois Lane, Reed Richards… I’m a sucker for it.
3. Imagery. If I can’t picture what’s going on in my head, it jerks me right out of the story. Of course, this is a double edged sword as some authors get too stuck on creating imagery that the story suffers… there’s a balance, and the good authors get it right.
