The Storm's Passed...
well, that was......boring.
I think the most exciting part of the Hurricane was before it came, when everyone was panicking about it. GUYS, this wasn't even as bad as Isabelle. I lost power for about 3 hours, some neighborhoods didn't even lose theirs, and there are less power outages than there were in Isabelle. In my neighborhood, roughly 3 trees fell down. Not too bad, if I do say so myself. The only thing I'm pissed about is the big ass branch sitting on top of my pool cover right in the middle. How are we supposed to get that damn thing off?!
Though the hurricane was little more than wind and rain, my heart does go out to the six families who lost somebody due to the storm. especially that mother in Newport News whose 9 year old son was killed by a falling tree.
isn't it ironic that only 1000 people got SWINE FLU and everyone wants to wear a mask, but 50 million people have AIDS and no one wants to wear a CONDOM!
