ㅤ⠀ㅤExpecting perfection anticipates disillusion.
ㅤ⠀ㅤExpecting perfection anticipates disillusion
ㅤ⠀ㅤㅤㅤ⠀ㅤㅤFinding perfection develops devotion
ㅤ⠀ㅤㅤ⠀ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ⠀ㅤForming perfection creates divinity
ㅤ⠀when you are the storm who decides to just fall on them till they are no longer visible, when you are the flooded who drinks in the onslaught.
⠀⠀ㅤ⠀ㅤ⠀You want them to care for you, embrace you, love you, see you, and you want it forever? Continuously, a thread strenghtened to the point of being able to pull it yourself? And that feels right for those woven together- not merely a duty, a task, or transaction, but fulfilling actions that shape those involved?
⠀ㅤ⠀Then, as I said in the previous post, your craving for connection needs to mean entangling, not just irrupting, your shared vulnerable space.
⠀ㅤ⠀And I talk more about the... way interactions are formed, rather than specifically be bothered by 'irruption' as harmful interactions based in trust and consent. If the vulnerable space inbetween is meant to hurt, that's okay. It's the way that hurt is managed, both in its existence and its effects, that need a nurturing entanglement.
⠀ㅤ⠀Which means, mostly, the acknowledgement of the gift vulnerability is, which has to be informed by those involved, for it is always shared, and unilaterality will just kill it all too soon.
⠀⠀ㅤ⠀⠀ㅤ⠀⠀And then they won't keep coming, and your yearning will perpetuate itself painfully, angstfully, on and on.
ㅤ⠀ㅤ⠀So you are seen, and you see them in return. It is indeed a form of care, forming you by perceiving you. And returning that care is not necessarily in the same way it was given, nor does it have feel like a transaction. It is more of being careful and respectful of the beings that trust you their vulnerabilities when they get near to comfort (form) you.
ㅤ⠀ㅤ⠀It's recognizing the vulnerable space formed, and keeping it whole, which means to tangle, and not just irrupt them.
ㅤ⠀ㅤ⠀You say you need them. You want them to come to you, to comfort you, to offer you warmth and care. You yearn for someone to help you, to hold you, to see you. That's... I feel that's everybody's given right, to a point. We are social, we crave interactions. Yet you can't just ask them, they can't just rain upon you, all the time, everytime. And I'm sorry for that, really, but if you don't return their care, it's not sustainable, for you both. Isn't caring and loving a nurturing act? If there are only demands, then isn't it treated more like a duty? But what will satisfy you, what you seem to seek, is not duty-bound care.
ㅤ⠀ㅤ⠀So it'll stay, the need. And, those that could fulfill it, will remain unattainable.
