Fun fact, the repairs I do tend to be done with whatever leftover threads I have. I don't cut new threads for repairs unless I need to color match.
This green is leftover from a section of the green and yellow project.
Finished this today(Jan 2) instead of Dec 31 as planned. Pretty happy with how much sturdier it is.
The back is very visible and lovely. It's one of my favorite prints and that's why I put it on the back of my dishrags. I see it every single day!
I believe it'll hold out another year, though I'll start looking around to thrift some rags to replace this terry cloth.
Started on a new mend. It's a dishrag.
Could I replace it? Sure!
*Will* I replace it? Not until the threads completely fall apart with no hope of repair.

the dishes won’t be clean if you continue to rub your dirty mouth on that dish rag cat!
I say break up with him, ideally on his birthday.
