Saw your post on platonic yandere Soundwave and it simply reminded me of a silly vehicon oc I have that's basically his right hand, I also can't remember if I've asked you this or if you've already been asked this buuut, how do you view the vehicons?
Like, in tfp and such, I've seen some headcanons that they're pretending to die in later seasons, a bunch of fics that focus more on vehicons explore them basically being storm troopers and battle droids mixed together with how they're treated, at least in that specific series, and one fic I've read seems to have them all be extremely young, comparable to that of actual children which is interesting to think about sure, but I wanna know what you think about the vehicons, how their mini culture works, if the miner vehicons have t-cogs, whether or not they're even cybertronians or they're drones to you, I'm curious!
Also, it's fun to imagine Soundwave getting attached to a specific vehicon and constantly worrying because of how high vehicon mortality rate is
This is actually the first time someone asked me about my thoughts on Vehicons.
And frankly... This made me think, long and hard.
First of all, I never really care about the Vehicons, and yeah, I too saw them as just fodder, or comedic value at best. BUT, I did read a fic where the vehicons actually hold a role on the fic (since that fic is Starscream-focused, and if you read enough tfp fanfics, then you probably know which one it is)
And I ended up really liking the way those vehicons is written cause unlike the other fics where yeah- they're technically the stormtroopers. The vehicons actually did have a small community and that they all have names. Ironically, Soundwave knows about them but I'm pretty sure he doesn't give a single crap about them and only made sure that he saved enough vehicons so that they wouldn't create more and waste more materials to be honest, lol.
BUT- BUT
Your ask did made me think of the untapped potential those vehicons has.
I knew at some point those vehicons are just cold-construct and they're all practically just clones. But by that logic, all vehicons are technically created as adults since they're just created to be fodder and they practically have no other choice but to serve them with no complaints.
And for so long, I just thought they have no personality and are just quite literally, blank slates.
But what if they just act like that, cause if they showed any amount of uniqueness, something always happened to them.
Get too close with Starscream? He'll use them as scapegoat or his own personal fodder. Plus, he already has his own seeker Armada, and those bots are probably wishing they're under someone else instead.
Be a bit curious about Shockwave's experiments? Next thing they knew, they're used as the next experiments.
And you're practically asking for a death sentence if you chose to speak with Megatron.
Honestly, the most safest option they have is Knockout and Breakdown. But, with the amount of deaths those two experienced with the vehicons, the couple opted to just minimize their interaction with them.
The only mech the vehicons are strictly said to not interact the most, is Soundwave.
With obvious freaking reasons. He's unpredictable. Unlike the other mechs in the Nemesis where they knew exactly what they're gonna do if a vehicons ever step a line with them. They barely know anything about Soundwave. For all they know, every vehicon that crossed his mind will became energon treat for Laserbeak.
So every time a new batch of cold-constructed vehicons are made, they're practically advice to avoid these set of mechs as possible.
But what if, a poor vehicon managed to get Soundwave's attention?
So let's start with the new batches. The most highest role a vehicon can get is a captain, and they're practically supervising every vehicons in the ship. While at the same time, making sure they keep every emotion and traits HIDDEN.
But what if a lone vehicon, disobeys that order in front of the elusive third in command?
Will I making a story prompt of platonic yandere!Tfp!Soundwave x Vehicon!reader?
Yes, yes I will.
But first-
Let's talk about the vehicons.
Buckle up guys, it's a headcanon times.
They're Cold-constructed with one purpose and that's to blindly serve the decepticons. My theory on why all Vehicons look alike is because the original ancestor of the vehicon used to be a very loyal warrior of Megatron. Who did his bidding with no complaints, did every job exceptionally well, and practically worship every stone Megatron steps on.
So basically we have Lugnut situation but with only one problem, that original vehicon is too sacrificial, and a doormat.
So when the time comes and they are on the verge of death, Shockwave comes in and told him that he would love to use body and processor for his next experiment, an experiment that will benefit the Decepticon cause, and of course- that guy agreed.
Cold-constructed clones are created with the artificially-created adult spark being the one that Shockwave is most proud of.
And thus, the first generation of vehicons were created. And since the processor from the original was still fresh, every vehicon has the same trait as them. Which obviously pleases Megatron so much, and the vehicons doesn't even question why they were getting send to death missions over and over again. As long as they pleases Megatron, then they'll practically throw themselves at a bomb.
That's how brainwashed those vehicons are.
But of course, as they kept making new batches, the original sample slowly deteriorate. Which led to Shockwave to use the next generations of vehicons, and if those vehicons also perish, then the next generation will suffice- and you get the point.
Which then leads to the vehicons we see now.
Where the original traits of the first vehicons are GONE.
They're all blank slates and is now an insult to the first generations, which led to supervising and training modules where the vehicons are taught that the ideal traits to have is to:
'Respect the authority, never question Lord Megatron, and do as they command'
Which is just a way for Megatron to at least have some semblance of the first vehicon to the newer batches.
But of course, every generation requires a new parent and it's no surprise to anybot when the Vehicons begin to.. Step out of the line and became their own person.
On more than one occasion, Megatron has to offlined a vehicon for thinking they even have a chance to stand amongst them.
Which then changes the whole view of the vehicons.
Once they were great soldiers, and now they're just servants to whoever Decepticons that ended up being their boss.
Fliers are for Starscream, and unsurprisingly- they have the most highest death rate amongst the vehicons.
Grounders are a mix but the ranking of which decepticons they want to be with is:
Knockout, though he rarely has any vehicons on his medbay and only ever asked for one whenever he needs to retrieve something. And most of the time, no vehicons died under his command.
Breakdown, a genuine great guy that actually treats them right but on more than one occasion, he tends to leave the vehicons which unfortunately sometimes led to death. At least he's apologetic.
Soundwave, he's.. Good. Not great, not bad, but good enough. Just as long as you understand the tasks he's given you and very much make sure that you get to the groundbridge he placed unless you want to be left behind when his timer runs out.
With Shockwave being last. Self-explanatory.
Minings are the vehicons that have been gravely injured on a battle, and if they want to continue to live, then they better make sure they reach quota every cycle.
And that's just the gist of it.
Did you think they only started doing that on Earth? No! Those jobs has been available for every vehicon since day one, only now did they start complaining because they finally have a mind of their own.
But even then, all of them has one goal and that's to survive, no matter the cost.
A vehicons won't even blame you for sacrificing another vehicon so you could live, they understand the situation they have and would do the same if given the chance.
They may have sparks, but they're just fodder, nothing else and nothing more.
Alright, so on to the names!
Canonically, they have numbers as name and from the two examples show in tfp and in the wiki, it starts with XL-(insert number here).
And I like to think that even before they got to Earth, they don't like those names so they started choosing random items to be THEIR name. A way to personalize themselves, you know?
Shine, Buffer, Rock, Jewel, and even Chair, are examples of names they choose.
But when they got to Earth, they found an abundant of names they could use for themselves.
With Steve being the first one to use a human name for himself, and they liked it!
Why do they not choose a proper cybertronian name? Again, they're not seen as Cybertronian, they're seen as mindless soldiers. So for them to choose a proper cybertronian name is laughable. A reminded that Megatron has to offline a Vehicon for even thinking of becoming beyond than their assigned role.
They just have to make sure they don't use those 'fake' names to their superiors unless they'll get question for mingling with the organics.
And eventually, because of them naming themselves, it eventually became a culture of their own.
A culture that only Knockout, Breakdown.. And Soundwave knows.
Just as long it doesn't interfere with their jobs, then Soundwave will not intervene.
And finally, the final part.. Their age.
Yeah, most Vehicons doesn't live long enough to be ten vorns old. Twenty if they're lucky.
Look, Vehicons have artificially created adult sparks, and a premade body. A literal blank slate.
Technically, their artificial sparks were 800-1000 vorns old, cause that's the age of the original vehicon (let's say the equivalent age of that is around 25-30). But timewise, most vehicons are just in their two-digit age, by vorns. They don't even celebrate their creation date.
And that has been the protocol for a million of years now.
Since they're made as adults immediately, the idea of a sparkling vehicon is quite literally an impossible thought.
Heck, some vehicons immediately goes to battle the moment they're constructed and onlined. They're just given a list of codes and datas and they immediately know what to do, even if they offline when they're barely a day old.
Plus, it's been drilled to their mind to be the soldier Megatron expected them to be, and anything that doesn't help that Decepticon cause is useless.
Megatron wants a mindless soldier, not someone who thinks for themselves.
...
So what will happen if Tfp! Soundwave got attached to a peculiar vehicon?
I love how the Y/n x CEO trend started as a "Annoying couple at work" To "That creature is an SCP and needs to be put down"
Hi, anon here, unveiling myself because your thoughts on the vehicons and the story you wrote from my prompt are making me crazy I love them SO MUCH AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also, putting this here now, sorry for the massive word vomit here, I got excited and kept getting ideas I wanted to share, sorry TvT
To start off, I wanted to suggest a little idea for the vehicons sparks being weak! Sparks resemble stars insanely well, and we all know stars will start off small but volatile and grow both in size and calmer as they get older, I'd assume it's the same for sparks. But with the vehicons, their sparks are automatically adult sparks, or supposed to be, so what if their sparks are so weak because they aren't meant to be adult sparks yet? Like supersizing a neutron star to a massive grown star size but keeping it's properties in tact, it likely could but it's gonna suffer and will be incredibly fragile I imagine, so vehicon sparks simply being sparklings sparks forced to be the size of an adult spark, but without the proper energy, making them weaker and easier to defeat makes sense!
This also brings me to defects in vehicons, I've read this fic where one vehicon was made and had a defect that essentially acted as the cybertronian version of seizures and it was SO COOL TO SEE BE HANDLED! Another thing it touched on was a third party making the vehicons originally it seems and making the vehicons with seemingly cheaper material, thus, making it easier to damage them both in and out of battle and I wanted to know what you think about such things, like, a vehicon coming out blind for whatever reason, vehicons being made and one is missing a limb big or small, or even simple changes that happen over the years that result in vehicons that are better at one thing than another and every vehicon being different in some way that makes them unique if you look!
Also wanted to touch on vehicon culture cause your idea for the names are SO GOOOOOOOOD, I love vehicons naming themselves cause they want to be unique outside the faceless army they're made into, it made me think of if vehicons all have a buddy of some kind and they choose names for each other, it makes me wish the decepticons had more comradery among them, cause imagine if Breakdown had lived because a particular duo of vehicons were with him when he went after Arachnid, helped him get free instead of leaving him behind because they care about him, and save him at either the cost of their lives or becoming unable to fight properly ever again
Or Predaking bonding with a particularly young flier vehicon who lost their buddy after losing his brethren, who has always hung around Predaking and actually enjoys being around him, and maybe treated him somewhat childishly when everyone only knew his beast form but still clearly cared and was never happy with Starscream, which also makes me wonder if Predaking, likely having much better senses than the average cybertronian, is able to more or less smell the fact that the vehicons are all horribly young? Cause I feel like he'd struggle with that, especially after his brethren are all killed, and he's just surrounded by what are basically sparklings
How would the autobots feel if they learned this information I wonder? Cause that'd mean at some point they weren't fighting adults, they were fighting(and killing) children stuck in adult bodies! Like, have you Seen how violent some of the vehicon kills are in the show, Bulkhead tears out the insides of a vehicon at one point in front of Miko, that shits horrifying, the only reason it doesn't seem that way is cause they aren't human to begin with, so it doesn't register really as anything horrible
Final thing, I love love love love love love love LOOOOOOOOOVE the story prompt you wrote for my silly request and ask, Soundwave wanting only the best for us but, since he clearly hasn't interacted with literally anyone in any normal way for who knows how long, royally sucks at communicating and connecting with others, he didn't realize at all that we never actually interacted with him properly and the other vehicons were reasonably telling us about how scary he is because you don't know what he'll do At All to you, and suddenly he wants to take us somewhere, take out what is basically our heart and soul, change our entire appearance to something else, and likely didn't even explain that immediately so all we thought was that he was bringing us to Shockwave for Unknown Reasons, and they're the most terrifying mechs to be alone with, of course we're terrified! This could've been solved by Soundwave just talking with us about this, or even connecting with us earlier so we'd be far more eager to accept and become a cassette instead of terrified out of our mind, but he and Laserbeak were too eager for a new family member after so long that they forgot all that and it makes the story so much better, they don't consider our autonomy and we're a mere vehicon, we can't escape no matter how hard we try, damned from the moment he got too attached
It's INCREDIBLE!!!! But I can't help but think about how it would go if vehicons could show more personality, some being more reckless than others and causing more chaos, and a pair of vehicons behaved similar to the terror cassette twins, or even just a vehicon that acted too similar to a mech/femme they cared about that died long ago, your ideas are incredible and I can't stop thinking about all the different platonic yandere scenarios involving both autobots and deceptions around that, them getting attached to a particular vehicon or getting a chance to keep a vehicon hostage(for the autobots) and getting attached that way while they learn more and more about how awful it is to be a vehicon, like, being able to access their memory banks directly because you can just plug into it and some are even required to erase memories just to store more intel and such, leaving them more constantly distant and blank eyed with barely any identity to speak of, let alone relationships and traits, or a vehicon catching one of higher commands attention by simply being so genuinely sweet and kind, showing respect to their higher command in such an eager way and be happy to help whenever, talk with them about whatever, actively asking about their duties and tasks and general role, I am going insane you've set my mind off so hard sorry for the big word vomit here, I got excited
<- Vehicons and platonic yandere!tfp!Soundwave with vehicon reader
For the spark thing, I'd like to believe that Shockwave genuinely has the whole patent of the Vehicon cloning is detailed from top to bottom. Since Shockwave in this one doesn't consider the physical frame one of his greatest achievement, but more so on the spark.
I like to believe that a cold-constructed bot usually has a spark that is considered young by their standard, probs around teenager years. And those bots spends their first vorns on multiple education centers, if not then to a job with a low pay.
That's why Shockwave considers his artificial spark perfect with no mistakes.
The only problem is, is the frame of the sparks, alongside the processor- and of course, the weakening of the sparks.
Yeah, most of the time newer batches tends to have mistakes on their physical frame. Some could have loose bolts on their limbs, weaker material, and yeah- there's probably some vehicons that have trouble seeing.
That mostly came from the fact that the materials are getting scarce, and since newer batches that are made in Earth came from Earth materials that has been repurposed and experimented to mimic Cybertronian metal. It just shows just how vehicons are severely mistreated. But even before they came to Earth, all of their materials that are considered scrap are thrown at the clones so that they could be used.
The same could be said with processors. Seizures could have happened during the process alongside many other problems. But knowing the supervisors, shockwave, and even Megatron, those with problems in their processors are most likely resetted, or worse, build back up again. Thats why all vehicons are mostly built with a functioning processor.
But they do in fact gain injuries later on during battles which would occasionally cause the afformentioned-seizure. But most of the time, their fellow vehicons would try their best to fix their processor as best as they can.
However, that also means that in every batch of newer clones, there's always at least five defects present on it. And most of the time, if the defects can be ignore, their supervisor will just assign them to mining sectors.
Those defects tends to be treated better by the other vehicons, especially if their defect is obvious. Cause they knew that they only need one mistake for them to be placed at the melting pit.
In a way of customizing themselves, whether by name or by appearance. A vehicon tends to only have one choice for voice and frame tbh. It's their name that makes them special, and eventually- they would ended up having their own way of speaking.
That habit was further strengthen during their time at Earth, since Earth has many accents, the vehicons ended up mimicking it. At first, Megatron and Starscream was annoyed by it, simply because they thought the vehicons were accommodating organic culture to their own but they're not. They ended up unconsciously letting it slide, cause it's also the only reason why Megatron could finally distinguish different vehicon supervisors, and he's not willing to ask for their name.
And it eventually became a common thing for a vehicon to completely remove their default voice in favor of a voice they liked, they can do that by modulating their voice box- and yes, they have to do it on their own.
However, I like to think changing their voice became somewhat of a celebration to them. Like what if a vehicon managed to survive at least three or four vorns.
The physical frame is mostly just small accessories that they can hide, but most of the time the vehicons differentiate themselves by scar. Which can be gruesome, but they don't mind, as long as they don't get hurt.
Knockout especially knew which vehicon he's close at due to the scars he personally fixed, and he's also the reason why the vehicons also started hoarding paint shiners and buffers they found during Earth missions. They mostly do that to gain proper fixing and healing from Knockout. But before they got to Earth, they're practically given almost nothing whenever they came to the medbay, especially if the medic is Hook.
Knockout is more lenient, and he's willing to do more than his job required but he unfortunately has to cut the treatment since obviously, there are decepticons that needed the supply more than just fodders. Breakdown was actually the one that personally told one vehicon about the type of paints Knockout like, which is the main reason why Knockout continuesly looked fabulous. He practically has weekly stocks.
And yeah, trading is their only way of getting more services. It only works best with medics though, but they're not complaining. Anything to be alive for another cycle.
One thing for sure is that Breakdown is every vehicon's friend. He personally remembers the name of others, with some mistakes alongside Knockout. But then again, even if a vehicon did try to help them. They wouldn't be given anything else but a cube of energon and a well-done from their supervisor. Their help, even if it save a proper decepticon is practically none existent.
Breakdown will thank the vehicons that helped him, but knowing Airachnid or practically any decepticons in charge. It's only a matter of time before those vehicons offlined. Whether it's by physical force, a mission or even an accident.
That's why Breakdown and Knockout limit their conversation with the vehicons. They know about the personality defect all vehicons shows, and how they became more recognizable as a person if some ever took the time to get to know them. But, again, they're vehicons. So the two just minimize it and hope to not get attached.
(Which unfortunately happens to Soundwave)
In terms of relationship.
Again, Vehicons were made with adult sparks. Therefore, their field to other Cybertronians are adults, not sparklings.
That doesn't mean that the Autobots know.
They know at some area that most vehicons they fought are young, but most of the time. They deduced as 'Clone gets cloned from another clone' situation, and never question it.
BUT- that also doesn't mean they wouldn't change their demeanor when a vehicon genuinely shows they're terrified, or if a vehicon shows traits that no vehicon has.
Will they treat them better? Yes, with skepticism. But better.
The same could be said with Predaking. Predaking is cloned from a parent cell- and they all came out as adults, even his brethrens. So even if he could smell that the physical frame of the vehicon is rather young, what the EM field said is more trustworthy And beliveable. And if the EM field says that vehicon is an adult, then that vehicon is an adult.
It's really a lose-lose situation here tbh.
The only people the vehicons has are each other, and even they're scared to bond with one another knowing that one or two of them will disappear.
...
So let's go to Soundwave:
Yeah, Sounders really didn't understand the vehicon's actual wish in the previous ask.
The thing is, Soundwave is VERY OBSERVANT, so good that he KNOWS just what the other is thinking, literally.
So when he read the vehicon's processor and saw just how many thoughts that vehicon has about life in general and wondering how to experience.
He interpreted it as "Oh, his vehicon wants to be a real mech!"
When in reality, the vehicon was completely content on being just a vehicon.
The thing is, Soundwave is so used on making decision to his cassettes, with his cassettes not arguing against it. Especially since he's the TIC of the nemesis, so obviously- no one's dumb enough to annoy him. What he wants to do is final, and the only one who can defy him is Megatron.
So if he says that you're getting a new frame, you're getting a new frame.
A deleted part of that prompt was supposed to have the vehicon's pov- where they're basically saying exactly what's written from above and tried to explain it to Soundwave.
Which obviously didn't work since the transfer still happen.
And yes, you could say it was because of poor communication, but even if the vehicon said it to Soundwave beforehand.
Soundwave would still follow through his plan cause:
He knows best, laserbeak wants another sibling, and.. Well, he knows best.
Cause to his logic, even if the vehicon is content on being a vehicon, it's only a matter of time until they start to wish for a proper frame. And Soundwave is giving it to them as early as possible so that their apparent wish could come true.
And even though Soundwave is a horrible communicator, he's a comms officer for the reason- and thats because of his primus-given skill of obtaining and withdrawing information.
That being said, although he seldom spoke. He certainly didn't shy away from actions. With how much stuff he's been doing on the Nemesis, it's certainly not a surprise that he would make time just for his vehicon in order to get them to drink their energon, and at best- try to form a connection with him and Laserbeak.
That's not the only thing he's been doing with the vehicon, he gives them resting time, specific schedules to just browse the internet and mindlessly watch humans through their various cameras, and again- talked to them occasionally so that his vehicon would open up.
How did the vehicon react to this? That's up to your interpretation, cause either way- that vehicon will still get transferred.
Even if their actions is perceived as weird by his vehicon, to him it's only a matter of time until they get used to it.
And the vehicon did, the vehicon did in fact get used to the amount of attention they're getting... But in a way, they're weirded out by it.
That's why when Soundwave visited his vehicon just before they got assigned to the mining sector.
Soundwave actually spoke with the vehicon for the first time there.
Asking if that's what the vehicon wants, to mindlessly mine until their eventual offlining.
Yeah the vehicon was confused and scared, but even they knew that the mining sector is a death wish.
So in simple terms, they told Soundwave that they just want their job back.
The vehicon didn't explicitly said that they want to watch humans go on to their day, nor learn more about their culture. Even if that's what they truly want. But they couldn't tell that to their superior! Even if said superior had already read their mind.
They just want their job back, because it's the only way that they'll survive.
His vehicon simply wants to live another cycle, and they thought Soundwave is willing to give them that option. Not knowing the much more horrifying implication of the words that Soundwave is saying.
Cause to a vehicon, that's all there is. Survival.
Yeah the vehicon in the story is naive, shy and even child-like, but it's still lasered into their procesdor that their life is for the decepticon cause and the cause only. One mistake could literally lead to their early offlining. They're naive but not dumb.
And let's say that Soundwave was waiting for the vehicon to say exactly that, to say that they only want to see life through a screen or even experience it. That just gives him the confirmation to transfer their spark as soon as possible. But since the vehicon didn't, Soundwave assumes that the vehicon was still shy to actually say it.
So he still went with his plan, confident that he can just rebuild the relationship from start once again once the vehicon is in proper cassette form. And his determination was further fueled by Laserbeak's genuine excitement over it.
They could be a family once again, and only Soundwave knows about this.
Cause even though the idea of a decepticon high command getting attached to a vehicon is promising.
The chances are nonexistent.
Starscream treats his Armada as servants. Maybe he could a vehicon's designation if they did act nice to him, but his thinking will devolve it into that vehicon either being nice for a benefit, or is told by someone to act nice. And it will take vorns to earn his trust on that.
Knockout and breakdown limits their interaction, and after breakdown's death. Knockout completely shuts off any unnecessary relationship.
Shockwave will use any vehicon that even shows a peculiar trait as an experiment.
And Megatron and Predaking couldn't care less.
Soundwave's the anomaly.
And let's say, hypothetically.
After formatting his vehicon to his cassette.
He became more observant, checking vehicons. Hiring more vehicons to work under him to see if they hold the same spark in their Em fields or optics his new cassette had.
Especially after the new breakthrough of the development of artificial sparks. Shockwave sees it as advancing to a much more proficient regeneration of their race, Soundwave sees it as way to get his family back. And yeah it's unhealthy, but are you willing to argue with the TIC?
Anyone that even shows a trait that pique his interest is immediately put on a pedestal to him. Those lists can include:
A vehicon he found acting like a mother hen to the other vehicons.
A pair of vehicons being reckless and a chaos junkie when it comes to missions.
Or even a vehicon that shows appreciation of art, or creating it.
Heck, he would probably put them under his command to better observe them better.
And those vehicons couldn't care less nor even ask what happened to previous charge.
All they know is that they have a new job and a higher chance of survival in the Nemesis.
Who cares if the vehicons under his command is completely different from one another? All they know is that Soundwave, for some reason, gave them a chance to showcase their potential.
Not knowing the possible ending they would have.
All they have to do is to do their job. Listen to Soundwave's command, accept everything he offers even if it's just energon, try not to get to Laserbeak's bad side.
And most definitely, not to distrurb the sleeping cassette he helds in his servos.
Remember the plot bunny where the Autobots find a bunch of humans but their field signature said they're sparklings? Aka the humans-are-sparklings trope?
Well.
There's gonna be a 2nd part of it where the Decepticons find their own human space ship but like- it's actually complete so I'mma probably post it sooner or later.
But yeah, I plan to start my own fic about it and my mind went the other way around and wonder...
What if the humans were already sparklings?
One of the major difference between the Decepticons and Autobots in the fic is how they treat the humans and I was planning to have the humans from the Decepticons are already sparklings from the conversion Shockwave did to them (it's also worth mentioning that this event is most likely a traumatic one) before they even meet the humans from the Autobots.
But like, I also have this another AU of mine, same story-wise but with different settings. The humans BECAME sparklings, or younglings because M.E.C.H found the allspark in Earth and was experimenting on it.
But like, the allspark also sends out signals or something- that causes the sparkling-humans to unconsciously go to their location.
This follows the "a select humans are sparklings" Trope.
The Au consists of like two groups of humans (one for the Autobots and the other for the Decepticons) and they all met in a nearby college where the experimentation is happening.
Anyway, fast-forward to the explosion.
Yeah, long story short- M.E.C.H finds out about the sparkling-humans and kidnapped some of the characters since the allspark energy kept fluctuating whenever it's near them.
After some time, and definitely some violence happening. Since this whole time, M.E.C.H tainted the water supply of the college with energon so that they could figure which humans reacted differently to it, causing the kidnapping to happen.
The allspark reacts, which led to a massive explosion to happen in the base. M.E.C.H manages to leave the area and left the humans behind, thinking they will die and although they were saved by their friends, the entire city and it's neighboring parts, ended up getting affected by the explosion.
An explosion that not only fully converts the Sparkling-humans into full Cybertronians, but also turned the surrounding area into metals, turned the water supply into energon, but also alerted the Autobots as well as the Decepticons on their whereabouts. Oh, and the allspark decided to peace out too and hide again.
What happens to the humans?
They got converted into ages that are similar to a young child to a young teen, and have no choice but to survive in their new environment. So basically, if you're 20 years old, you'll turn 20 vorns old which I'm gonna believe that it's an age for young Cybertronians. The reason for this change is because a toddler will definitely not survive this apocalypse scenario but an adult in a child's body might (low chance but not a zero)
Comes in the Autobots and Decepticons, who at first were treated with hostility, it also doesn't help that they were still at war. But when they found out that there's a huge part in America that is metal and it's actually slowly turning the soil into its Cybertronian equivalent. Risking Earth's nature and life, but giving nourishment for the sparklings in it.
Which led the humans to believe that the Allspark is a virus that is ruining Earth, and M.E.C.H- especially Silas were a bit salty that HE didn't get turned into a robot, which caused him to hunt down the allspark once again, to either use it for experiments, or a bargaining chip- whichever comes first
The Cybertronians found out about the humans-turned-younglings, and they are NOT believing that they were once adults.
So not only do they need to find and care for all of the sparklings, but they also need to find the Allspark while at the same time convince the other group to either let the allspark continue its change (Decepticons) or save Earth from extinction (Autobots).
Nothing hurts more than seeing your favorite fic got discontinued.
Having OCs is hard.
Cause instead of me doing the typical standard 4-8 OC package for a story.
I watched Jojo and realized that I could create different characters from the same universe.
Now I have like... 60, I counted my miis.
And I haven't even put ALL of them in it.
The fandoms that are trying to drag me back right now are the following:
• Creepypasta (I just searched Toby on TikTok and boom, now I have endless amount of creepypasta in my feed)
• Eddsworld (if you're part of this fandom, you know damn well why)
Don't worry, my sponges- I'll still be in the transformers fandom.
I'm just visiting those places for a while.
