We like to think that Treavor is the definition of an unfortunate armature.

He likes doing things besides drinking. 

He writes crappy poetry because he finds it relaxing. He plays darts with Havelock and Martin for the fun of it. He plays chess, he’s horrible at it, but it’s a nice way to pass the time.

He doodles on scraps of paper, not dull on drawings, just little doodles. He hums sometimes just to fill the silence of the pub.

But Treavor is a noble, and nobles can’t afford to have passing fancies.

Treavor can’t just doodle on paper scraps because that’s immature and he’s a grown ass man. Treavor can’t afford to write crappy poetry because what’s the point? He’d never make a dime off of his drippy little poems so he shouldn’t waste his time on them. Treavor can’t play chess or play darts for the fun of it because nobles can’t afford to have fun.
