Midnight Rendezvous (Frank Castle x YN)

Chapter 1 - The Warehouse

It'd been about a week since your run-in with Punisher. And you didn't feel bad in the slightest. He was way out of line to think he can tell you what to do, and as you screamed in his face, he has no idea what your qualifications are. It's not like there are job interviews for this kind of thing anyway. Well, unless you want to be a part of the Avengers wannabe group the "Defenders". Goofy ass name. 

You were on another patrol, closer to where you saw Punisher than you've dared to go in the last couple of days. You might not be sorry, but that man could do some serious damage if he wanted to. In the middle of your train of thought, you were interrupted by the "BANG" of a shotgun.

You jumped into action immediately vaulting from building to building towards the scene of the crime. When you get there you pause by an open window in the back to analyze the situation. It was a seemingly abandoned warehouse with broken windows and trash everywhere. As you go to enter the building, you hear a struggle and blows landing.  You decide to hang back in the shadows for a bit and take out some minor watchmen near the entrances. You do so quietly and quickly. Unlike the other attacker handing the perps their asses, you had a sense of stealth and chose to be like a deadly shadow. Rather than a rain of blood and violence coming all at once.

All the guards were taken out and by the sound of it, most of the active attackers, too. The one beating them up was a mass of a person, huge and muscular. Tall, too. He was on top of another man, punching his face repeatedly in order to knock him out. He couldn't see the second attacker creeping up behind him, he was too wrapped up in the first guy. You run towards the second man, still quiet as ever, and jump up onto his shoulders. Putting him in a leg lock with your legs, you make him fall to the ground and choke him harder. His struggle dies down and you tighten and twist, breaking his neck in one swift movement. You're about to leave the scene and wait for the next thing but the mystery man standup up and what could it hurt to see what he looks like? 

You're filled with feelings of dread and contempt as he turns towards you and his face becomes visible. 

Frank Fucking Castle.

Of fucking course he would respond to the same hit as you. Realizing that there's not much you can do at this point to run away without him seeing, you stay planted. Taking this as an opportunity to ridicule him. The best way you can think of is twisting his words from a couple of nights ago 

In a disappointed mom stance, you say "Leave it to someone that knows what they're doin' Frank" mocking his heavy accent on the last two words. He seems slightly surprised that you know his name, but he looks more upset about your insult. 

"Hey kid, I know my shit. I coulda handled it without you taken out one guy." He gestures to the man you killed a moment ago.

You barely flinch and jut your thumb over your shoulder, pointing at the pile of dead guardsmen behind you. Most of them were obviously bigger than you and armed heavily. "Yeah, that one guy was the one that mattered."  you say bored "Really, I think you would have got away scot-free with 10 armed, hidden guys firing at you." 

He clicks his tongue, looks away, and looks back at you similarly to the way he looked at you on the roof. His eyes go slightly wider as he looks you up and down. You were a little worse for wear at this point in the night. Some of the guards knicked you on your face and arms, along with bruises from other encounters earlier in the night. 

He steps closer slowly, very slow "You're hurt"

Sometimes self care is a bubble bath and face mask by candlelight or enjoy a nice glass of wine and a book in front of the fireplace

the dl: it was exactly how JJ wanted it, they spent a long time perfecting it and disney had minimal influence and was very pleased with the end result :))
