I’ll do a headcanon for each of the bandmates’ favourite Disney films! Plus a bit of fluff~
2D:
2D admitted he wasn’t a Disney kid growing up. He preferred the likes of Aardman and Warner Bros when it came to cartoons as a kid.
Although he does admit that the two films he likes the most were The Jungle Book, which he saw in theatres as a little kid, as well as Aladdin. (He thinks Jasmine is hot, lol) Plus he loved Robin Williams as a kid, so that’s a plus.
He softly sings ’‘A Whole a New World" to you, since he knows it’ll make you melt hearing him sing it.
Murdoc:
To be frank, Murdoc has had a grudge against Disney for most of his life, due to his father forcing him to dress up as Pinocchio as a small child and perform for drunken morons at the pub. The movie Pinocchio triggers him to this day and he hates all old Disney films. “It’s all saccharine, schmaltzy shit!” He declares.
With that said, He got a kick out of watching The Emperor’s New Groove with you, since it was a comedy and so Un-Disney like. He also liked Who Framed Roger Rabbit for it’s more adult humour and Jessica Rabbit, obviously.
Strangely enough, he has an odd respect for Lilo and Stitch. When you asked him why he liked it of all films, he tells you, “The girl is a little shit. When I was a lad, I was a little shit. No cares about how little shits feel or what crap is going in their home lives.” When you give him an empathetic look, he tries to retract his statement. “Yeah-nah, I guess the aliens n’ shit were alright.” But his feelings are pretty clear.
Russel:
Of all the bandmates, Russel is the most attached to Disney. He loves the Fox and the Hound, which he saw when he was six, and seems to really like Beauty and the Beast.
He HATES the 2017 remake of Beauty and the Beast. And he will let his feelings be known.
He affectionately jokes about how you’re the Beauty and he’s the Beast. You tell him he’s more like a big teddy bear, and he cuddles you tighter. :)
Noodle:
Noodle is more of a Studio Ghibli/Hayao Miyazaki fan than a Disney fan, but she appreciates Fantasia and The Lion King. Y'know, because she loves cats.
Other than Fantasia, she agrees with Murdoc’s sentiment that the older Disney films are too saccharine and sappy.
She’ll hold Katsu up like Rafiki holds Simba up in The Circle of Life. :)
