Disneyformers aka Bayverse Reimagined Disney Style Take 2
Ok, so after revising the story a little... here is the new synopsis.
Mikaela is an ordinary young woman who was given a hard deal in life, as her mother died of illness when she was a baby and in her teenage years, her father died in a car accident. Moreover, she is impoverished while running the auto and tech repair shop she inherited from her father. Despite not being able to go to college, she is a gifted tech genius who is able to remake even old junk into new amazing gadgets and is determined to make her father's project of perfecting electric cars and cybernetic parts a reality especially for her wheelchair bound maternal uncle Chip Chase who was born without legs. Her two friends and coworkers are Charlie and Raoul.
However, one day, a strange meteorite lands near the junkyard as she is collecting scraps and she checks it up to find a glowing blue cube. Upon touching it, the cube transforms into a bracelet that fuses into her skin and she cannot take it off. The next moment, she runs into a giant robot (Wheeljack) who scares her off. The next morning, Mikaela decides to worry about the cosmic bracelet later and get back to work on her project. However, when they try to start the electric car... it cries out in pain with a loud "YEOW!!", so she checks underneath to find... the face of the robot smiling sheepishly. After panicking especially when the car transformers, Wheeljack attempts to calm them down, but they are attacked by Soundwave and his minions. Once Wheeljack and the other Autobots save them, they introduce themselves and explain that they were only there to collect their artefact (The Allspark).
They are from a planet called Cybertron of which two factions, Autobots and Decepticons, were at war for years and Megatron seeks to control Cybertron. In one of his attempts to gain control, he tried harnessing the power of Cybertron's core itself, but in doing so, he actually wound up removing its core and put the planet in a dormant state. The core is the Allspark and it does nothing alone. It requires a bearer which Mikaela became upon touching it. Moreover, normally a Transformer is supposed to be the bearer, so as a side effect, Mikaela is slowly turning into a Transformer! Luckily, Optimus Prime says that there is a safe and simple way to reverse the process and remove the Allspark from her which is to use the Key to Vector Sigma which the Autobot sage and oracle Alpha Trion has back at the Autobot base on Earth near Las Vegas. Mikaela agrees to go and Chip insists on tagging along as do her two cousins Raoul and Charlie.
During the road trip, Mikaela and Wheeljack grow close and even begin falling in love. After another failed attack, Mikaela is left feeling distraught, but Optimus reassures her that things will get better. While that is happening, Megatron lets Starscream have it, but then draws a new plan: let the Autobots take the Allspark Bearer to their base so they can find out where they are hiding, launch an attack and get their prize. Once the team reaches the Autobot base, Alpha Trion is about to use the Key, but they get attacked and the key gets destroyed in the process. Moreover, Megatron kidnaps Mikaela and Optimus Prime, and brings them back to Cybertron. Megatron reveals that the Allspark Bearer has another hidden ability that is unique to them: not only can only they reawaken the planet, they can remake it into their image, so Megatron's plan is to kill Mikaela and collect the Allspark from her body, then become the new Bearer so he remake Cybertron in his image and even extend his empire to other planets starting with Earth. Mikaela manages to escape and even free Optimus Prime. Together they escape and in spite of Optimus feeling bad about it, Mikaela convinces him to allow her to return the Allspark to Cybertron even if it means losing her humanity, so they travel to the Well of Sparks.
Once there, a huge epic battle breaks out and Mikaela becomes injured in such a way that she breaks a leg making her unable to enter the main chamber of the Well of Sparks. Wheeljack voluntarily carries her into it knowing he could die as he is not an Allspark Bearer, but does so anyway. Megatron tries to follow them into the main chamber, but the energy blast disintegrates him into dust (classic Disney death) and the Decepticons cower and surrender. Once Cybertron is reawakened and the energy light dies down, both Mikaela and Wheeljack exit both alive and both appearing human, but they are actually both Transformers though of a new type: their alt mode is human. Mikaela used her power as the Bearer to remake herself and Wheeljack instead of the planet, and she remade themselves in such a way where they can be together without sacrificing their identities and lives.
The final scene ends in the future with Wheeljack and Mikaela getting married on Earth which has now formed an alliance with Cybertron and electric vehicles have been perfected as have cybernetic parts as Chip Chase now has fully functional legs and is able to walk. As for the Decepticons, they are doing community service which is unpleasant and everybody still doesn't respect Starscream.
The notable songs are still "Dreams are made of fire", a cover of "The Touch" by Adele, a cover of "Life is a Highway" by Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime, a remix of "On the wings of love" which is Mikaela and Wheeljack's love song, and "All Hail Megatron" as Megatron's villain song.
The Autobot team consists of Wheeljack (Chris Hemsworth), Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen), Cosmo (Weird Al), Elita-One (Linsay Rousseau), Ratchet (Jeffrey Combs) Lifeline (Angela Basset), Prowl (Mel Gisbon) and Jazz (Will Smith). Of course, Alpha Trion (Morgan Freeman) is there too. I don't hate Bumblebee, but I think we should take a break from him.
The Decepticon team is Megatron (Frank Welker), Starscream (Steve Blum), Soundwave (Frank Welker) and his minions, Thundercracker (Daran Norris), Skywarp (Adam Baldwin), and Blitzwing (who is a German like scientist) (Bumper Robinson).
The humans Mikaela Banes (Megan Fox), Charlotte "Charlie" Watson (Hailee Steinfield), Raoul Riviera (Micheal Chain) and Chip Chase (H. Jon Benjamin).
For context, Mikaela is 20 and Wheeljack is the human equivalent of 25. And I imagine this as a 2D animated film.
