I saw "Song of the South" once. I didn't think it was any more racist then "Gone with the Wind"
So I just saw Frozen(spoilers)
And I love the message of the movie. It's not about romance, like most Disney princess movies, it's about love between two sisters. I'm in college and don't see my sisters a lot but I found that my relationship with my sisters are close to like Elsa's and Anna's. When Elsa's powers are reveled everyone turns on her except Anna and was Anna's reason for going after Elsa? She was her sister and nothing else. Anna accepted Elsa and defended her because she loved her sister even though she was different no matter how hard Elsa tried to push her away. And just like Anna, me and my sister's protect and accept each other, somedays one of us might be Elsa and the other two have to Anna. Anna even chose to save Elsa instead of saving herself when she saw that Elsa was in danger even after not seeing her after so many years even though Elsa nearly kills her. This movie shows that there's more to love than it just being between to people. There's a bond of love between siblings. I might have over analyzed but thats what this movie says to me and how I connect to it. Hope this makes sense I tried to get everything sorted and written down.
Sid Philips for me is the most frightening charachter of Disney, actually He was the only villian I was scared when I was young ...
But Irving wat is frightening on him ? he is just a kid ...
Well that's the frightening part he is just a little kid, not a witch or the god of the death he is only a motherfucking boy who is a fucking psychopath.
and well that's my confession
I hate how Disney and Pixar are re-using all their old material.
