A tribute to the timewasters
My own note on what has been going on, even though no one will probably see this. xD
This drama is quite laughable. I do feel like I'm partly responsible for it due to a recent falling out with one of the "associates". It wasn't until it was mentioned that I was still roleplaying with Mod Jack in my spare time - which I had a lot of, due to current circumstances - that I think her interest in DC jumped back up. I had hoped that said person would be responsible and mature enough to mind her own business, but it does seem as if she is the one who is behind this. Some people just can't let things stay in the past, and it's really sad. I do wish that this same person would really check before she starts saying things because Summer has never once been up on DC's board from what I can remember, other than perhaps mentioned in the bios of Rapunzel and Thomas in their relationship section, and Thomas has been taken down, as well as Rapunzel's. Even shortly after my leave from the "official" DC world, I actually checked in on these things, because I had given quite a few months of work, a lot of heart and soul and emotional attachments to this RP, things that I missed, and is one of the reasons why I came back to the private DC world - nothing else seemed nearly as satisfactory. Also, fake niceness solves nothing, and just really shows how much of a problem this person is. Not that I think that this person is fake, and I will explain why.
I did leave DC on my own terms, but I also left with someone who was my best friend at the time. There was a lot of OOC drama for months that I found myself in the middle in without really wanting to be. I did consider myself friends with Jack and with this other person at the same time, and so there were times when I would hear complaining and would step up and defend each one of them to one another. Things weren't going well for this other person in the RP, simply because she wasn't getting her way - none of her theories were working, which happens in real life scenarios, and one of my favorite things about DC is that though it is based on Disney, life is not all fairytales. Bad things happen to good people, and I made some bad things happen to the characters that I loved to play and create, but it seems that there were some others, like this associate, who didn't like that, and didn't let that sort of growth and development happen to her characters. They were always at the right place at the right time to save someone, or have someone come along and save them, and frankly, it did get a little boring. I will not call this person a bitch, because she can be a lovely person, but I do think that due to the sheltered nature in which she was brought up, she's naive and though I'm no psychologist nor pretend to be, I think that she gets caught up in the fantasy world and applies it to her own. I have worried about her for quite a while due to this, because of some of the things that she says. Most notably, and to prove my point that she doesn't exactly live 100% in the real world is this one thing she said to me - "His grandma likes me, I think that means we're going to get married." Though we're not friends, I still worry about her naivety and her being used, but that being said, I think that she does have a problem with preying on other people and using them. Being friends with her has been almost like being a victim of emotional blackmail. Back in the DC days, it was me and this person taking over the dash almost entirely, and I didn't like that. I tried to take time between responses in order for others to jump in and bring in their starters so that my other characters could play along with the wonderful story and opportunities that were there, but then this person would start to get emotional. If I said that I wasn't in the mood for responses on a certain day, she'd act like it was a personal insult and then go to a friend's house and ignore me for the rest of the day. Another thing is when she would get upset and say that she was being sensitive, and I would agree with that, she'd turn the tables and try to make me seem like the bad guy for agreeing with her. I understand that not everyone is called upon to grow up fast, and not everyone needs to, but for the sake of the world and her safety and her future career, I hope that she does.
I appreciate and love the love that I have been granted by Mod Jack, and the other roleplayer who is in our little three on three world who I won't name to leave out of his drama mess, and I feel like I have my family back again. My other roleplaying persuits had fizzled out because of this associate and I'm going to spend my time looking forward and being productive, increasing my writing skills and building on the characters that I love, instead of looking back and finding things to pick at. No offense to the other two that had sent in their messages, I'm sure that you got roped into this the same way that I had been roped into the same predicament that I had been in before. I actually got a warning from one of these people about the problematic associate before we started to really become friends, and I wish that I had heeded that warning.
One more thing -DC has been shut down for a while, as you probably all noticed. Going back into the archives to find anything about your characters just seems like a worthless pursuit, since it's not as if anyone is going to play them. Work on a novel or your own roleplay (unless that failed, I know one of yours did) and leave Jack alone. You all knew what you were getting into when you sent the message - Jack's not the sort of person to take shit from anyone, especially you guys.
Looking forward to any hate mail that may come upon me! Try to make it original this time, instead of copying something that was said to you.
