Morning! (In my timezone at least,) How have you been?
I really like the #2 in the sketch request, if you want to, can I ask for the gay cats there? Who poses as who doesn't matter. If not, you're totally free to draw any other ship :D I just missed your art sm! 🤍
I've been good <3 tired and doing my best. I hope you're doing well too!
Cogsworth himself couldn't understand the appeal of rivalry. Yes, perhaps there was that one time when he was within an ace of jabbing a pair of scissors into the rear end of the aggravating little M. LeFou--and wouldn't Freud have a field day with his relish of the idea of prodding another man's backside--when he'd made some untoward advances against certain members of his little contingent. But that was surely the exception, and a cold look was all they'd ever exchanged since then.
He had been quite confident that all was going well, particularly when Cogsworth had all-but defended his honor at the last teachers’ conference. Some pitiful little dumpling of a man had been pressing his attentions too hard, trying to melt the icy reserve Lumiere put on when he didn’t want to be bothered. Cogsworth had come over, said some rather cutting things, and steered Lumiere away. Honestly, the Mathematics teacher might as well have seized him and kissed him in front of the little runt, for all that he had been subtle about it.
Teachers' Conference: Chapters One and Four

My ramblings of this comic below cut
I am going to go on record that @incurablenecromantic fic Teachers' Conference is my favorite fic of all time.
In all honesty, I was kinda wanting to make a mini comic out of one of the scenes in this fic, but there is so many good scenes that I really couldn't decide.
Until rereading for the umpteenth time when those two above quotes hit me on the head.
Upon first reading those two quotes, the immediate thought (at least for me lol) was that "oh hey, reference to the 1991 film! Clever, I love it!" But reading further into it, it actually is a really good indicator of Cogsworth coming a bit out of his shell and showing that he isn't a coward. It also shows why Lumiere really wants to help his friend out. Cogsworth's got potential! He just needs drive.
Anyway, I was going for a memory aesthetic, so I decided to not use black at all (with the exception of the eyes as I really couldn't find a suitable color for them), but go for a darker color of the character's color pallets. Each page took roughly 1-2 days instead of my usual 1-2 hours, and it was really fun to do!
Comments n reblogs appreciated, and if you have any questions, please drop em off in the ask box! Thank you!
I’m not particulary happy with this, but it’s just sketches and it would be weird to just update Pleakley, soooo....
This is human Jumba, based on the fics of Disney High AU. He’s the science teacher, and still a doctor. Jumba is from Russia, and was exiled because of his DNA experiments, but no one knows about his past (except for Pleakley, who he lives with). Divorced, exiled and without nowhere to go, Jumba started teaching and ended being forced to share aparment.
Jumba is grumpy, smug and have the most sexy russian accent.
Again, check @disneyhighau for more! @silkoodles has done impressive designs of the characters and is doing a comic. Their design for Jumba is faaaaaar better than mine, so go watch them =)
I wanted to contribute some art to the @disneyhighau tag, but I’m not much of a art-drawing-style artist sooooo mood boards? mood boards!
I was planning to make some for the rest of the cast BUT it’s late and I’m tired so I’m saving the rest for a rainy day. In the meantime, my first three were for my main faves so I figured I’d post em here.
if you haven’t read the comic/fics/etc. for this au yet...why not? get on that.
Alright, my AU is coming along pretty nicely, and I've rewatched a bunch of the movies way too much now.
Number one, for now I'll just use disneyschoolau for my tag, until I think of something actually creative. I'll also be labeling posts by the respective schools.
Number two, I was able to start placing people in their places, so we'll start with the run-down of Walter High.
The fairy godmother from Cinderella is the principal, and the three good fairies, Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather are the vice principals.
The White Rabbit is the counselor.
Cogsworth: Higher level math
Bagheera: Lower level math
Jumba: Biology, chemistry, basically just all science
Lumiere: English and French
Mushu: English and Chinese
Baloo: History and social studies
Pleakley: Geography and social studies
Sebastian: Drama
Genie: Home economics
Zazu: Finance and social economics
King Louie: Music
Phil: Gym and technology (maybe? hasnt been decided)
No art teacher yet, but I'm definitely on the lookout! Been a couple ideas but they all fit better somewhere else in the universe.
