DID YOU KNOW: Jessica Rabbit made her in-person debut at the Disney World on Ice show in 1990/1991. From what I’ve heard of this show, Jessica may not have actually skated, but came out to help Roger and Eddie make Scrooge McDuck laugh. You can see a photo of her in the official program. Interesting thing is there are two different versions of the program book. One version shows the Jessica character with all the wrinkles and folds on the body suit, but the other version is airbrushed to look a lot better. Even the other character artwork on the cover and interior is vastly different for each. I’m assuming one was rushed into production but then improved later on for a second printing. Notice how this version of Jessica has a necklace, which is similar for the masked character that showed up in Disneyland Paris. I think if this dress was amended a little there should be no reason she couldn’t be in the parks or at least a show or parade. This dress is almost a turtleneck, with all the skin being covered.
