HEWWO :3!! can i request dadzawa headcanons w a reader who he adopted and has an empathy quirk? (basically he can manipulate the feelings that others show to a certain extent and use telepathy- kind of like eleven from stranger things)

dadzawa w adopted reader/empathy quirk

⇝ he would’ve adopted you when you were little, probably about 2 or 3 after becoming stable enough as a hero and getting enough time to take care of a kid

⇝ you discover your quirk manifesting when you were 5

⇝ it happened when you wanted a snack before dinner, but he wouldn’t give it to you, so you took it upon yourself to float a box of cookies down from the top shelf

⇝ he found you on the couch later, empty box of cookies discarded to the side while you laid on your back with a tummy ache

⇝ he asked how you reached them

⇝ you shrug bc you didn’t technically reach them, they came to you

⇝ later on through the month, he finds more and more things that he put in high up places suddenly coming to your reachin level

⇝ he sets up a camera so he can figure how tf ur doing this

⇝ and bursts in the room when you’re in the middle of trying to get your favorite stuffed animal down from the high shelf he put it on

⇝ this breaks your concentration and it drops to the floor, and as an instinct you cry because you think you’re gonna be in trouble

⇝ as he approaches you to call you down, he feels something wet on his cheeks, only to discover he was crying as well, without having any sense of emotional distraught

⇝ he would manage to calm you down and explain that it’s just your quirk and make a doctors appointment for the next day

⇝ as you got older, he’d help you control your quirk, helping you find different ways to multi-task without breaking concentration and help you lift heavier things with out mind without the drawbacks of your quirk hitting as hard

⇝ speaking of drawbacks, some obvious ones would be headaches, and nausea, along with migraines, vomiting, nosebleeds, and if you use way over your limit, you could pass out

⇝ that being said, he’s a hardass

⇝ especially with his teacher background, you know he knows how to school a kid, and just because your legally his own means nothing

⇝ you wanna go to u.a.?

⇝ don’t expect a recommendation letter from him

⇝ hes gonna make you work just as hard as the next guy for you to be administered

⇝ but he does it bc he cares

alright, this is probably gonna be long but i guess i do have to explain huh

i grew up with the 2003 show. i was like, 6 years old back then. i have a picture of my brother and i dressed up for fastelavn (danish halloween kinda) from 2004 and my brother’s dressed up as leonardo. i’ve found old art of the turtles and my oc i shipped with all four of them lmao. donatello’s always been my favourite, i’ve always had a big fat crush on that specific turtle.at some point after the 2007 movie, i grew out of it a little, only to be dragged back into the fandom thanks to the 2012 show. i was 15 then! my crush on donnie hadn’t died down at all by then, and it was with 2012 donnie i first started actually self shipping, when both me and this fictional turtle were 15ish.then the bay movies came out! first one in 2014, i was 17, second one in 2016, i was 18-19. the bay turtles are still canonly teenagers, said to be around 15 years, but you cannot seriously look at those big boys and tell me ‘ah yes, that looks exactly like a teenager, no adult would be attracted to that unless they’re a pedophile’ ?? like…?? not to mention the actors are, obviously, all adults too lmao

now it’s 2018 and there’s a new really good show out and i’m 20, turning 21 soon, yeah. because of this new show, me and my friends have been watching the 80s show a lot too. this show came out before i was born, i did watch some of it as a kid but not a lot. rewatching it, i see the same turtles i’ve always loved, just goofier and slightly different, as it always is with a new version!

and fun fact, if the 80s turtles were real (which they are not) and 15 in their show, they would’ve been born 1972.. making them 46 years old today! and if the 2003 turtles were real (which they are also not) and 15 in their show, they would’ve been born in 1988, making them 30 years old today!

and guess what! if the 2012 turtles (who are again also not real!) were 15 in their show, they would be born in 1997! the same year as me! making them 20 today!and yet i got anons like this when i turned 18! because i’m still in love with a fictional character who does not age like real people do! wild!

so all that math aside, i’ve been a huge turtle fan almost my whole life. i’ve been in love with donatello since day one. he’s my number one comfort character. feelings like that doesn’t just go away as soon as you turn a certain age. when i look at him i see a different version of the same turtle little 6 year old me crushed hard on. i’m not at all interested in him because of his age. hell, when i draw him, sure, he’s 18+! you really cannot tell the difference, you can’t tell me their appearances doesn’t work for mutants over the age of 18, i’ve seen several people saying the same thing, that they look more 17 than 13, etc etc etc.

so yeah! tl;dr he’s my number one comfort character and drawing myself hugging him makes me happy. i’m happily married and obviously not interested in any 15 year olds in real life. if this makes you uncomfortable? ignore me, unfollow me, block me for all i care. i’m just having fun and minding my own business, thanks. have a nice day.

⇝ this man would find out your quirk when you decide to visit your dad in his class

⇝ (even if u went to u.a. and got into the hero course, the chances of you being put in a parents class are extremely low, solely based on the fact that he could show some bias towards you)

⇝ so, you visit him during lunch, expecting to find him in his usually yellow sleeping bag

⇝ unfortunately, he has a very irate bakugou in front of him and a slightly less angry midoriya behind him

⇝ your dad? absolutely pissed

⇝ for what? you have no clue, and all eyes turn to you as soon as you step into the room

⇝ it’s then that you notice the angry blond has a busted nose, while midoriya has a bleeding lip

⇝ “(y/n), im glad you’re here. walk bakugou to the infirmary for me.”

⇝ “huh?” both of you would yell at the same time, followed by bakugou saying “i don’t need some extra walking me to the infirmary”

⇝ aizawa’s hair would stand on end, eyes glowing red while that creepy smile would form on his face. a telling sign of his patience wearing thin

⇝ bakugou would swallow his pride and go with you

⇝ on the walk there, he was still angry, muttering curses under his breath. you slowly let your quirk do its thing, letting your calm demeanor make its way into his nerves

 ⇝ by the time recovery girl is checking him, he’s eerily calm. not smiling or anything, but his usual scowl isn’t present. he has a sense of,,,, peace he hasn’t felt in a while

⇝ he seeks you out after a few weeks, demanding to know what u did to him and you just explain it as your quirk, but give him a few tips on how to mellow out without said quirk

⇝ he takes offense to this, of course, but is soon coming to you every other day because your entire being is just calming to him— not that he’d admit that

⇝ into your third year is when he’d grow a pair and ask you out. the bakusquad (and even some other classmates) would tease him about you guys dating

⇝ then denki would make some offhanded comment about asking you out if bakugou wasn’t going to and when I say this man jumps— I mean like,,,, vaults over the couch to grab the strawberry blond by the collar, daring him to even try

⇝ a couple hours after that, the class sees u two walking hand in hand while bakugou has a dusty pink covering his cheeks
