Have you ever heard about a Disney Park propsed project years ago called " Disney America?" I did back in Nov 1994 and was SO excited and thrilled that back in the day- this project was on the horizon- to think only 2 1/2 hrs away a Disney Park but a History Park (I LOVE Early American History as much as I LOVE Disney). Sadly, a dream of then CEO Michael Eisner's was shotdown and in 1994 Disney abandoned the project. Many of the ideas for the park was brought into both Disneyand and Walt Disney World with: "Soarin" in EPCOT, "The Land" in EPCOT- California Screamin' in Disneyland, The Hall of President's from Liberty Square would've been re-created! Well- our family is going to take a tour of the area, talk to local towns folk and see where this was going to be,what's there now, and would the towns folk want it 26 yrs later?
