My Shiggy and my Dabi figurine just came in the other day and they look cooler than I thought.
(if you want those figurines too, there are links down below but just so you know, they are affiliate links!!)
Display Cabinet!
This is the last thing (for now) that I have to share from my efforts to upgrade and rebran all of my convention table supplies to suit my new aesthetic! I found this cabinet second hand and did what I could to tidy it up a little. The original drawer handle broke in half, so I repurposed a tentacle from my odds and ends to make a new handle for it that fits the general weird vibes that I'm aining for ;)
I did a little mock up of the cabinet full of stock so that I can get a better idea of how I can use it on my table! I also added some information on comms since that's something that I'm asked about a lot <3

Designing a Trade Show Table That Truly Stands Out
Trade shows and business events can feel like a marathon — crowded halls, endless vendors, and attention spans that disappear in seconds. The challenge? Getting people to slow down long enough to actually notice you.
The good news is that a well-designed table can do exactly that. It can stop people mid-stride, spark meaningful conversations, and turn casual curiosity into real, qualified leads.
Your table isn’t just furniture. It’s a branded stage, a conversation opener, and often the very first impression someone forms about your company. In this guide, we’ll walk through how to create a polished, professional setup that works as hard as you do.

Start With the Foundation: The Right Table Cover
Before adding flashy displays or marketing materials, focus on the base layer – your tablecloth.
A custom-printed tablecloth in your brand color instantly elevates your booth. It frames your products, reinforces your identity, and signals professionalism long before you say hello. And because tablecloths are reusable, the ROI pays off at event after event.
1. Step one: choose the right size.
Most trade show tables are:
4 ft
6 ft
8 ft
Measure first – guess later.
2. Standard, Stretch, or Fitted?
Once size is sorted, style matters:
Standard covers drape loosely and allow easy seating behind the table.
Stretch covers hug the table for a sleek, modern look.
Fitted covers create a tailored, upscale appearance (common at formal events).
3. Zipper Back vs. Open Back
Small detail, big convenience:
Zipper back lets you store boxes or giveaways neatly out of sight.
The open back makes it easier for staff to sit and reach items quickly.
Think about how you’ll use the space – storage? seating? Both?
Build Visual Impact With Banners & Backdrops
Once your table is dressed, it’s time to go vertical. Height attracts attention – especially from across a crowded hall.
Consider:
Booth backdrops
Portable displays
Banner flags
Retractable banners
A custom backdrop sets the scene and gives instant brand recognition. Pair it with a banner or flag, and you’ve created a visual “anchor” that draws people toward your table – not your neighbor’s.
Stage Your Products Like a Pro
Now that the booth framework is ready, it’s time to showcase what matters most – your products.
1. Pedestals & Displays
Pedestals spotlight hero items. Because they elevate products, customers’ eyes naturally follow.
Portable or collapsible designs are especially helpful for trade shows – easy to pack, easy to set up, and surprisingly sturdy.
2. Acrylic Risers
Acrylic risers create multi-level displays, making products easier to see – and much more engaging.
Options include:
Clear column risers
Colored risers
Block risers
Morrored risers
Layer products instead of lining them up – it instantly feels like a retail display instead of a storage table.
(Extra points if you use lighting to highlight key pieces!)
Guide Attention With Signs and Information
People won’t always ask questions – sometimes they just read.
That’s where acrylic sign holders, frames, and easels come in. Use them for:
Product features
Pricing
Short benefit statements
Special promotions
Signage Holder With Clips
Select sizes that complement your layout, not obstruct it. Think “supporting actor,” not “main character.”
And don’t forget literature holders. Business cards, brochures, and pamphlets stay neat, organized, and easy to grab – without cluttering the table.

Add Interaction: Boxes, Cases & Raffles
Clear display boxes and cases are multi-taskers. They’re perfect for:
Displaying products
Holding giveaway items
Doubling as risers
Pro tip: Place 2 giveaway boxes at opposite ends of the table. This spreads traffic and encourages more one-on-one conversations with staff.
Want something that really draws people in?
A raffle box.
Collect business cards, run a giveaway, or simply gather contact information. Pair it with a sign that explains the prize, and watch participation grow.
Tie Everything Together
By now, your table has:
Strong branding
Smart organization
Layered visual interest
Clear messaging
Interactive elements
That combination transforms your booth from “just another table” into a memorable experience.
And remember – every item should have a purpose. Don’t add elements just because you saw them at another booth. Choose what supports your goals: visibility, conversations, and conversions.
Final Thoughts
A well-designed table is one of the most cost-effective marketing investments you can make. Start with a high-quality custom tablecloth, then build upward with elements like banners, acrylic displays, risers, sign holders, literature organizers, raffle boxes, and more.
When these pieces work together, they create a cohesive, professional presentation — one that people pause for instead of walking past.
And if you’re not sure which components are right for your brand, don’t worry — that’s where display specialists come in. The right partner can help you plan a table layout that fits your budget, reflects your brand identity, and makes your next event truly memorable.
