and thats a huge bummer
Friends! The new AJJ album “Disposable Everything” is out now! I love it.
A couple of highlights include:
A killer opening track, Strawberry (Probably), that makes me wanna jump around!
Moon Valley High is about the Qanon Shaman (Sean gives some lore at around the 8 minute mark of this episode of Live from Quarantine)
ALL of the 5:4 measures in A Thought Of You
The way Sean sings “Keep them boys glowin’” in Candles of Love
The awesome synths in Schadenfreude
Also that song is a reworked version of Schadenfreude Song from Live from Quarantine (originally written after Trump got Covid [haha fuck u donny])
“The reverb could’ve been a bit wetter” in All Of My Woulds. (Also, this song is so sweet and kinda jazzy!!! Definitely the most interesting sonically and I love it.)
My excitement in the lead up to this album, and my excitement listening to it reminded me why AJJ is my favorite band.
i was battling so many horrors today but new ajj made it so much more bearable
New AJJ album has me running around on all fours in circles and barking like a dog
my feet planted in different realities i've been doing lots of parallel planning
