Been thinking Abt disspair again. Was thinking Abt how they technically performed live at grandfest. Nintendo once i learn how to model and animate i will make u splatband performances for FREE (had to draw them mostly canonically accurate, usually i make warabi like 6'5+ w tboy facial hair and ikkan a large fat man)

Everytime i draw warabi i try to make him look more and more like he doesnt know where he is 🩷

Ok so yall who dont understand how warabi lived a normal life with his famous parents - I vibe. But I either think that Rabi's parents were soldiers and escaped with each other when he was either concieved, or even newborn (assuming that he isnt an octo that was created from a cut tentacle.) Another lil sumn i thought about was that maybe he is from octopia. Maybe he lived there in his early years. His parents brought him along, and became famous after they escaped. Of course, this lends a better explanation to why Diss-pairs music is so angry. Warabi has pent up trauma from being raised in fear as a war machine, and is breaking out of the classical music he was raised on and partnering up with some bassist punk. Said punk (Ikkan) is older, and has been through the rise of a widely successful band he was part of probably most of his life, only to watch everything they had worked so hard on fall apart. This Despair is what makes them, well, Diss-pair ;)
