I’m in the middle of studying for finals next week and 24 hours ago I started having to process and gain information here and there that ultimately results in my mother going into detox for the alcoholism that’s plagued her life longer than I’ve been alive.

I’m sad and angry and scared. Also, “I’ll believe it when I see it.” And, “Damn why couldn’t I have been told after Wednesday?” Which makes me feel selfish and awful. Fuck I’m a horrible daughter.

My friends told me to take a break and clear my head before getting back to studying tonight. So I just spent two hours organizing my tags (partial data entry-like distraction paired with looking at things I like) which means....
