“Runt” by RIP Eternal
RIP Eternal strikes the perfect balance between more traditional rapping over trap beats & the more alternative, moody, melodic style that’s quite popular these days (I’m not gonna say emo). If you’re the type of listener that loves 5 Finger Posse & Lil Zubin at the same time, you might picture RIP’s style of music as a tasteful amalgamation of the two. He’s got the go-to producers for the more melodic stuff with Deliverthecrush & Mixed Matches, but he also won’t sound out of place doing a verse alongside someone like Sub9k. The fact that he’s able to combine these two styles so effortlessly makes his music have such a wide appeal, and gives him the potential for massive growth.
Future’s “Krazy But True” Is The Marriage Of Father Time & Sin It isn't much of an aberration to label Future's The WIZRD the best album of 2019, given the quantity shortage at the moment.
