[Image ID: A circular pixel image of a jumping quadrupedal creature floating in space. It has a black body with starry speckles gradating from blue near its front to more pink along its tail, a pink-purple underside, shimmering pink-purply goop along its back in a short flowing fin, two light-blue forked-tip feelers curving back from its forehead, blue fingertips and toes, and light-blue eyes with bright pink irises. Around its head are a set of five opalescent light-blue gooplike protrusions- the topmost being the largest and the bottom two being the smallest- which form a kind of "frill" shaped like a star. This mirrors the general color of the brightly-shining goop star at the end of its long tail, which it is reaching for and leaping towards, causing its body to stretch in an unclosed vertical loop. To the left of the creature is a vertical "2023", while to the right of the creature is the artist signature, "luminull". /.End ID]
(First time writing an image description, hope I did it right!)
I've never had much luck with keeping up with art blogs, but I think a large part of it was the urge to only post finished products or have a consistent style
This maybe isn't the best example of the former, since I'm considering it finished, but I know for a fact that this blog won't only be pixel art: I like to dabble in lineless, painterly, clean-sketch, and even some really basic animation, though I hope to try out comics one day and get back into non-digital art again
Here's to a new year, and a hope to put myself out there more, even if it's messy and inconsistent (and more than a little scary)!
