14 - our characters getting caught in the rain together
They agreed on meeting in the park, at 1 PM. The park was fairly far from Tao's apartment, and it seemed like it would rain and Tao didn't own an umbrella. He headed out, with or without umbrella. He had a hood to protect him in the case of the rain. His steps were quick, and he reached to the park in 45 minutes, leaving him 5 minutes time to spend before Baekhyun would arrive.
He sat on the agreed bench, taking out his phone and scrolling down the news, reading whatever seemed interesting to him -- the amount of news he read wasn't large, probably 2. It wasn't long until more drops started to fall, making his black hair wet, and not even stylish anymore. Tao quickly put his phone back to his pocket, and started grooming his hair back in it shape. Until someone ruffled it back to messy again, making him to look back up only to see Baekhyun. Smiling, Tao stood up. He greeted the other, and pointed out that it was about to rain. Surprised enough, neither Baekhyun had an umbrella with him. The two of them were about to get wet before they could buy umbrella. Tao looked around him, and his eyes caught on a stairway, that had a small roof. It was probably a little dirty, but it was a shelter enough to keep them getting more wet than they already were. He grabbed Baekhyun's arm, pulling him to the stairway. The time they got there, it was raining like someone was pouring water from a bucket. Tao took a deep breath and looked at the other, smiling softly, and signing him to sit down. Nodding, Baekhyun sat down, looking around him, he was probably trying to look for any signs of leak. Tao felt a small rain drop on top of his head, pouting, he moved slightly towards Baekhyun, who stared the black haired boy for a moment, before understanding why had he moved. "I guess we're stuck in here for quite a while", Tao chuckled. He didn't mind about being stuck in here, really. They could get to know each other better.
It wasn't long until the two of them were talking about themselves, how great and awesome they were, punching each other gently to the arm when the other went too far in bragging. Tao told Baekhyun how he one left his car keys inside his fridge and next morning he had hard time finding the keys and was already late for work -- back when he actually had a job.
Suddenly Baekhyun remembered something, and started to search his bag. Tao leaned to see what the bag had inside, when Baekhyun pulled out an see-through umbrella, laughing. He explained how he forgot that he took this with him last time he used that bag. They both stood up, and Baekhyun opened the umbrella, then asked would Tao like to go and buy an umbrella in case that this happens again. Tao nodded, and told Baekhyun to lead the way.
