“Hate Me” by Nico Collins has some major PT!Dib vibes, part of the chorus is literally “I’ve got both feet on the edge, are you gonna come and save me?” and “Even though it hurts me baby, I’m in love with the way that you hate me.”

This song really sounds familiar as well!!! and yeah holy this is a very Zim song for this AU I’d say (even if the rhythm I have a hard time relating it to that mess of an alien)

I HAD AN IDEA ABOUT ANTENNAE AGAIN!!! Ok so imagine Zim managed to piss off his reader somehow, and he decides for once to suck it up and apologize. So here you have Zim, with his head down, holding out a flower to his human, with his antennae laid back behind his head. But then when his human accepts the flower and apology, they shoot right up and wiggle a little bit because he’s very happy to have them back!

YES! OMG! THIS SOUNDS SO CUTE?  

Be warned: There might be a few feels up ahead! While there will absolutely be a happy ending, I’d advise you to have some tissues just in case.

You were absolutely furious with Zim! Dib had the misfortune of being chosen as your partner for a skool project and Zim sabotaged the entire thing! You nor Dib had the time to make another project! There went your straight A record! 

You were so mad you couldn’t even think straight. When you got home you slammed your bedroom door shut.

BEEEP! BEEEP! BEEEP!

Your wrist communicator bracelet started going off.

You knew damn well the caller was Zim. He was the one who made the bracelet for you!

You growled and threw the bracelet across the room.

BEEEP! BEEEP! BEEEP!

The bracelet continued to ring so you decided to silence it by slapping your pillow over it.

Meanwhile, Zim begun to panic.

“Why isn’t Y/N picking up?!” Zim growled as he frantically shook his communicator.

Zim tapped the ‘Emergency call” button on his communicator. He hopped he would never have to use it but unfortunately, there’s a first time for everything.

BEEEEP!

“Y/N?! Y/N?! Y/N?! IT’S ME! ZIM! RESPOND! PLEASE! CAN YOU HEAR ME?! HELLO?! Y/N?! Y/N?! Y/N?! ARE YOU ALIVE?! Y/N?! Y/N?! Y/N?!” Zim screeched as tears begun to form in his eyes.

You let out a startled yelp as you heard Zim’s screaming from under your pillow.

“Y/N?! Y/N WHAT’S GOING ON?! ARE YOU IN DANGER?! HELLO?!” Zim’s screams became louder and louder as he grew more and more frantic.

“Shut up! I’m alive! I just don’t want to talk to you!” You snapped as you cut the call.

Zim felt like he had just been stabbed. How could you not want to talk to him?! He thought you loved him! What was going on?! This had to be Dib’s fault! Zim was sure of it!

Wasting no time, Zim threw on his disguise and stormed off to confront Dib.

BLAM! BLAM! BLAM!

Zim slammed his fist against Dib’s front door.

The moment Dib opened it

FWOOSH!

Zim shoved Dib into the wall and caged him in with his spider legs.

“What have you done to my sweet Y/N?” Zim’s voice was cold and venomous as he spoke.

“What are you talking about?! I didn’t do anything! You’re the one who ruined our-”

“SILENCE DIB-STINK!” Zim roared as he grabbed Dib by the shirt.

Sweat begun to pour down Dib’s face. He had never seen Zim so angry before!

“Y/N is refusing to speak to me! They’ve been ignoring my calls! Ignoring Zim! You were the last one Y/N spent time with! This is your fault!” Zim ranted as he forced Dib to look him in the eye.

“Now then. What have you done to my Y/N?” Zim let out a low growl as the icy tone in his voice returned.

Dib tried to open his mouth to speak but fear had robbed him of his voice. All he could do was whimper as Zim’s eyes pierced through his soul.

“ANSWER ME, FOOL!” 

“Hey, dumbass! Keep it down!” Gaz grumbled as she emerged from her room.

"This conversation doesn’t concern you, Dib-Sister!” Zim growled as he turned to face Gaz.

“This conversation does concern me! Your screaming is ruining my high score!” Gaz grunted as she folded her arms.

“Well your filthy stink brother ruined my Y/N!” Zim sneered.

“Well, maybe Y/N’s pissed at you because you ruined their skool project? Did you ever think of that?” Gaz growled as she shot Zim a glare.

“YOU ARE FULL OF LIES! Zim did not ruin Y/N’s project! Zim ruined Dib’s project!” Zim corrected as he folded his arms.

“You do realize that by ruining Dib’s part you’re ruining Y/N’s part too right?” Gaz mentioned as she opened an eye.

“Eh?”

“Skool projects are a group effort. If you turn in only one part then you fail. Everyone knows that.” Gaz explained as she put her hands on her hips.

“Oh...”

“That’s what I was trying to te-” Dib began.

“SILENCE STINK BEAST!” Zim interjected.

“Look, as much as I’d like to see Dib get beat up, this isn’t gonna make them like you again.” Gaz noted.

“Then what will?! TELL ME!” Zim demanded as he snapped a finger in her face.

 “I don’t know! Maybe get them some flowers or something?” Gaz suggested as she swatted Zim’s hand away.

“Flowers? Very well. If this will get my Y/N to forgive me, then I shall get them these flowers.” Zim announced.

“Will you stop screaming now?!” Gaz growled.

“Yes. Very well. You have been spared just this once, miserable human but the next time I catch you anywhere near my Y/N...I will annihilate you down to your every last cell.” Zim’s words dripped with venom as he turned his attention back to Dib.

All Dib could do was nod meekly.

“Good. Now, I shall hunt down these flowers!” Zim announced dramatically as he released Dib and ran out the door.

“Thanks Gaz! I-ACK!” Dib was cut off by Gaz kicking his shin.

Zim rushed pff and stole bought the biggest bouquet of flowers he could get his tiny hands on.

However, the moment he tried to walk up to your front door,

FWHUMP!

Zim tripped on a large rock and fell flat on his face. The impact from the fall caused his wig and contacts to fall right off.

Zim groaned as he peeled himself off the ground.  He coughed up some dirt as he slowly got up. Zim wiped the dirt off of himself as best as he could before anxiously ringing your doorbell.

You were home alone and were expecting a pizza. 

DING DONG!

Assuming it was the Pizza man, you got up and opened the door.

You let out a startled gasp when you saw Zim standing there without his disguise!

“M-My sweet Y/N! I have come bringing flowers to...to...apologize.” Zim stuttered as he held out the flowers

“Apologize for what?” You urged as you folded your arms

“I have come to apologize for ruining your project! I thought I was just ruining the Dib-Stink’s part but I have been informed that I have also ruined yours! So I’m s- I’m sorry.” Zim confessed as his antennas laid back behind his head.

You sighed and playfully shook your head.

“Alright. I accept your apology.”  You smiled as you gently took the flowers from him.

“Really? You forgive me?” Zim’s antennas sprung straight up.

“Of course. I just can’t stay mad at you, Zim. Now you better come inside before someone sees you without your disguise.” You chuckled.

“Eh? But I’m wearing my-” Zim let out a gasp as he realized his disguise was missing.

“It’s no big deal, Zim. Just come on in and I’ll take care of it ok?” You explained as you gestured for Zim to come inside.

“Ok! Phew! I am so glad you’ve forgiven me!” Zim chirped as his antennas wiggled a bit.

Hello hello hello! Can we get some General headcanons for how Angel and Alastor act in front of their crushes/s/o’s

Angel Dust

He’s no different than normal, really, which is a good thing about Angel. He’s transparent because he doesn’t give a flying fuck about what people think about him.

Acts out a bit more than usual, probably to try and impress his S/O.

He’s shameless. Totally fine with PDA. Just make out with him in an alley way and it’s fine.

Not necessarily protective, but he’s not careless either. He looks after his S/O to a degree, but also knows that they can take care of themselves. Doesn’t feel like he has a major responsibility over them.

Casual, swears a lot, embarrasses his S/O in public… good ‘ol Angel.

Alastor

Alastor is so hard to read sometimes, because his face is always the same, dead smile. However, it’s clear he cares about his S/O, and they probably can tell the more they learn how his emotions operate.

Again, no different than normal. Nothing makes Alastor lose his cool. Sometimes, however, he likes to make snide, teasing remarks towards his S/O, in an affectionate way.

Very protective, but doesn’t show it. He lets his S/O be until someone advances on them or they’re in danger. Then all hell lets loose from there. No one makes it out alive.

Not big on affection or excessive physical contact, but will tolerate handholding.

As aforementioned, he’s not the best ‘rail. Pale feelings tend to be more compulsive and fluid than red and black and would leave him vulnerable to his s/o’s beck and call (because he’s definitely not a guy who needs to be kept in check lmao)

Though, while he is red, he is fucking scarlet- flipping to pale would definitely be only out of necessity, if his partner is/becomes unstable for any reason

Taking him out of the lovey-dovey redrom fantasy and into a quadrant with an actual job to be done (rather than just being a companion, which he much prefers having a few fwbs) is an instant moodkill. bye bye, rose tinted shades!

He is definitely insecure as a moirail; especially in a vacillating relationship, because he just… doesn’t think he’s built for it? 

He tries not to get pouty about it but its obvious that it gets to him and that pretty much flips y’all back to red because its just so hard not to bleed pity for him when he’s upset 

Tho at the same time… vacillation because of sadness is unhealthy and puts a lot of pressure onto the s/o to balance their pale needs with his red needs. not an epic gamer moment.

Honestly tho this kind of relationship would definitely wear him down and he might end up bowing out after awhile, its just too much commitment to take care of someone like that when he neglects himself already

How about that “sharing skills with your soulmate once you meet them” au with Fresh...who’s s/o’s main skill is intense empathy? So he meets this one person and all of a sudden he can feel EXACTLY what others are feeling (including animals)?

Fresh Sans

It’s... overwhelming to say the least. He’s never really felt true emotions before, and especially not for this long. The fact that he suddenly will be near someone and have an intense warm feeling inside, a feeling that’s making him want to move around and almost hum and comes with a small amount of a buzz of sorts in his core, something he learned was ‘happiness’. Or he’ll suddenly feel a lump in his throat, his metaphorical stomach would be in a metaphorical knot, the SOUL of his host, along with his own personal core, would suddenly hurt at an intense level. Breathing, when he does it, will randomly hitch and be hard. Then liquid magic would leak from his eye sockets. The first time he felt ‘sadness’ he thought his host’s body was starting to fail.

Basically, he’ll be in a survival-based fear for a few days every time he leaves his house. Expect a lot of hissing, growling, and almost attacks during that time.
