New Characters Added - Introducing Swapfell/Fellswap AU's!

As promised, here come the 3 new Swapfell Au's! From the far left starting from Classic Swapfell!

Nox - A Prim and proper royal guard captain with strict principles. He is assured, and very prideful. Nox often comes off as a stick in the mud but he couldn't care less of other peoples opinions of him. Rus - A money grubbing, conspiracy loving, shit stirring, lone wolf. Rus is a chatty and friendly monster that always manages to stick his nose into things where money is involved, however as friendly as he might seem, he rejects any and all attempts at close kinship. His personal history and inner thoughts are locked behind a massive paywall.

Next up in the very middle we have a Swapfell/Fellswap combo!

Berry - A bratty, boastful and energetic skeleton. Berry believes that he is always right and everything he does deserves its own movie rendition! Its never surprising to find Berry loudly complaining about something that slightly got on his nerves, seeing as nothing seemed to be up to his standards! Syrup - A deathly quiet and loyal hound, answering his brothers every whim and call with a dutiful "Yes, M'lord." A very apathetic monster that is bored of the world around him, but whenever he finds something of interest... things become dangerous... (Very much inspired by @battlemaiden13 's Swapfell rendition)

And last but not least on the far right we have the Fellswap Gold brothers!

Wine - A conspiring businessman. Wine is knowledgeable in all things business and is known for scheming and charming his way into high society! Loves the more expensive things in life and can be rather controlling. Very protective of his younger brother. Coffee - A timid and shy monster that struggles making social connections. He is an introvert and often spends time alone, albeit whether its by choice or due to being confined to his house - its hard to tell. Anyone who ha managed to get closer to Coffee would know that he secretly yearns for new connections and exciting new experiences.

Please be patient with him... Edge isn't exactly someone who's accustomed to physical touch being seen as a positive thing

In his underground, the most "affection" given out was typically some kind of fight or something similar as to avoid being seen as weak

But as soon as you're able to convince him that touch doesn't have to be violent, that it doesn't make him weak for accepting and giving it, he makes it his number one goal to give you every bit of affection you want

You want to hold hands? He'll do it. You want to cuddle with him? He'll scoop you up and carry you around with him as he goes about his day, because we all know he isn't the type to sit still for long

While he may be a tad bit reluctant to do anything in public (again, everything in the underground taught him it was a good way to make both of you seem like an easy target) he'll still try to slowly warm up to the idea of holding your hand while out on your daily errands

Red:

Just like every other monster who was raised in the underground, Red is reasonably wary about touch

He's easier to convince than his brother, and as soon as it clicks in his mind that it means he gets to be close to you, he's never going to leave you be

It isn't uncommon for him to hug you from behind while you're going about your day, whether it be chores or otherwise, and you can feel the way he sags against you

Most people wouldn't expect skeletons to weigh all that much, but oh boy is he heavy when he does that. It's usually enough to make you have to stop what you're doing to pry him off of you

Red will usually snag you by the wrist or something to pull you onto the couch while he's lazing about for cuddles - even if he says he's doing it for you more than for him

Out of all of the boys on this list, he's the most smug when it comes to PDA and will show you off to anyone he can

Underswap

Blue:

This poor skeleton never, and I mean never, sits down for more than a few minutes at a time during the day, so good luck convincing him to stay for cuddles

That said, he is all for giving you the affection you're clearly starved for. It doesn't matter if he's busy or if you're both out and about doing things together

He's the type to give you little skeleton kisses all throughout the day, any time and any place

As for you following him around like a lost puppy, Blue would probably think it's the most endearing thing in the world

Even if he's doing things for the royal guard after the monsters have been freed from the underground, he'll always find a way to involve you somehow so you don't feel so awkward just kinda... standing about

After all, the more time he gets to spend with you, the better

Stretch:

Oh boy are you in for a ride, because he's in the exact same boat

While he might be a little too lazy to actually follow you around everywhere you go, he's one of the most affectionate skeles yet

He likes to drag you to the most random places for the two of you to cuddle and nap at, it doesn't matter where

More often than not, he'll be touching you in some way - whether it be by holding hands, linking arms, or even one of his hands on your knee while the two of you sit together

Stretch can and will throw himself on top of you to cuddle if he ever sees you laying down on the couch or bed on the rare chance that he isn't there first

Skull:

Don't get me wrong, Skull is another one of the skeles who would be thrilled to give you all of the affection you could ever wish for and more

It's just that he's afraid of hurting you in some way. He's always seen humans as fragile, no matter how true or not that might be, and ever since his head was messed up, he has a hard time gauging just how much strength he's using

It's because of that that he'd most likely have you be the one to initiate cuddling or affection. He'll say that he doesn't care when or why, and if he isn't up to it at any time, he'll let you know

It takes him a long while to trust himself to ever initiate anything without the fear of accidentally breaking you, but when he does, you'd better bet he's hooked for life

As for you following him around while he goes about his day, he might be a little bit worried that something he's doing is making you anxious, and that will make him anxious in turn

He'll more than likely turn around to look at you every few minutes to check in and make sure that everything is okay

Sweets:

Like most of other monsters who managed to survive the famine, Sweets's body is kind of twisted. He knows that he tends to tower over basically every human he's met, he knows that his bones are just a little bit more pointy than they once used to be, and he's afraid of hurting you just like Skull is

Of course, that doesn't change the fact that he would do anything and everything to keep you happy

He'll get used to just... scooping you up and carrying you around with him. It doesn't matter if he's in the middle of doing something like gardening or cooking, though it isn't uncommon for him to set you down on the counter or something similar so he can have both of his hands free

Even if he has a hard time sitting still or relaxing, it's easy to calm both of you down when he lets you sit in his lap while he plays with your hair/gives you a scalp massage

He might even joke about getting a wig, saying that he's always wanted hair

Boys reacting to MC saying "if you weren't out of my league I'd totally date you." (I just think it would be cute :>)

Sans -As he does with most things. He turns it into a joke. He knows that it’s really you whose out of his league but this comment can’t help but give him a little bit of hope.

Papyrus -He thanked you for the compliment and you're not entirely sure he understood what it meant. Either way he seems happy but he has totally misunderstood and now is convinced you want to date him. 

Red -Thinks you're joking about dating him and plays it off even though his soul stops for a second when you say it.

Edge -He shuts it down immediately and quietly. You are in his league, don't use that as an excuse. If you want to date just ask and if you don’t he will. He’d rather just know if your serious about dating him or not.

Blue -Immediately goes to chastise you for saying such awful things about yourself. You weren’t expecting a lecture nor were you fishing for compliments when you said it but here you are being drowned in both. You leave the conversation with your head spinning and it wasn’t until a day later that blue realised you basically said you would date him. 

Orange -Looks down at his stained hoodie, broken shoes and baggy sweat pants before turning to you with a what the fuck are you on about expression. He won’t let you just drop that comment, you are taking it back and admitting you are either in the same league or you are above him. IF he’s gonna be shot down he wants it to be accurate damn it. 

Berry -Well at least you know your place. He is very smug about the compliment before realising you said you wouldn’t date him. He looks away shyly before admitting he would date you even if it was below his status. 

Syrup -says that if he’s out of your league he will gladly lower himself to your standards, just tell him what to do. You could take this as him harmlessly flirting but he is deadly serious.

S/o likes to test out every new lipstick they get by seeing how many kiss marks they can leave on his skull

Undertale Sans - Please do. Sans lies down like a dying sea star on the couch and lets you savagely kiss him everywhere. He might even jokingly judge the lipstick with you by telling you the previous one lasted three more kisses, smelled better, and that he gives that one a 7/10.

Undertale Papyrus - He giggles, blushing hard, falsely trying to fight you all while somehow offering other parts of his face to you. Being covered in kisses is Papyrus' favorite thing ever, and he absolutely loves it. He will reciprocate at some point, sneaking behind you to rub his face in your neck while saying nice things to you. He loves physical affection, he can never get enough.

Underswap Sans - He's growling angrily and struggling as you hold him forcefully against you and kiss him everywhere. Eventually, when it's clear it's not working, he just screeches. That's also the only way to give him love, so you better get used to it. Blue likes affection... But after the affection part thingy happens.

Underswap Papyrus - He's smiling widely, purring like hell, and rubbing his big face against yours. He will give you the sad puppy eyes when you stop, because it's already over? He wants more. Give him love. Give him all the love. Please... Just a little more? It's definitely a trap to get you to cuddle with him for two hours.

Underfell Sans - He will curse and fight you a little, and then just give up in a big sigh to show you he doesn't like it. Except he loves it, and simply acts like he doesn't like it. You know it because when you stop, he always gives you that half-angry look because it's already over and he wanted more. He's a big tsundere.

Underfell Papyrus - He rolls his eyes and sighs loudly, but he doesn't make any move to get out of reach. He loves the attention, but he loves being dramatic more. He guesses he will tolerate it because it's you, but don't think he's enjoying it or anything; he's totally not. That's why he grabs your arm to keep you around when you decide to leave, because he totally hates it.

Horrortale Sans - He starts to purr so loudly that the entire house is shaking. You can hear all the other skeletons on the farm complaining all around you, but they're all jealous that they don't get the same attention. Oak is very happy, though, and he will also completely forget the kiss marks and accidentally show off your love for everyone to see for a few hours, at least until Willow sends him to wash his face.

Horrortale Papyrus - He makes all sorts of funny noises as he tries to stop you, but repeatedly fails to find a valid argument to stop you. He ends up bright red, doing his best to not meet your eyes, and looking falsely offended. Could you please be a little more gentle? That's clearly too much love; look at him!

Swapfell Sans - He tries to act like it's not happening and keeps reading his damn newspaper, but it's hard to miss the fact that his entire face is a deep shade of purple. He's not moving away though. Nox loves physical affection, and if it's sometimes challenging to get a reaction out of him, you are well aware you got him this time. Besides, he will keep the kiss marks until the end of the day if he's not working. Sure, Rus will tease him to death, but you know what Rus doesn't have? A partner.

Swapfell Papyrus - He's giggling and screaming that you're murdering him, but be careful, as you never know when he will steal your lipstick to do the same to you. If you think not having lips will stop him, you're so wrong. Rus is always a good sport when you want to be silly, but giving him ideas is probably not the best idea either.

Fellswap Gold Sans - He lets you have your fun, looking so annoyed, but he allows it because it's you. He will then proceed to judge your lipstick because you came to ask his opinion, right? No? Well, you're going to have his opinion anyway. He doesn't like that shade of red; it's too pale and doesn't match the rest of your makeup, but the good news is that he has one that he knows will do just fine. He can even let you kiss him again to test it. Wow. Weird way to ask for more affection, but it's working.

Fellswap Gold Papyrus - He's squeaking and giggling, overwhelmed by your affection, and eventually he loses control and starts to purr uncontrollably, his face entirely orange. He absolutely loves it, please do it again. He's all excited and playful after that.

Do they produce light outside of the skull???? Can you see them in the dark??????? If you get enough skeletons in a dark room could they light it up?????????

What's something they don't understand about humans? (Dealer's choice)

Sans: burping. Sans thinks the noise is hilarious and doesn’t get why humans consider it rude when they do it. It’s just air passing through their stomach. Fun fact: since monsters “dissolve” food as soon as they eat it, they don’t burp! Some have the right body shape/parts to mimic the sound if they want but it’s not something that comes natural .

Papyrus: goosebumps man. He’s low-key obsessed with how the hair on humans arms will raise and look all bumpy when they get cold. If papyrus ever gets a human SO, he’ll be such a creep about their bare arms during the winter lol. He always wants to feel the bumps when they appear

Star: for star, it’s the whole humans only having one set of adult teeth for their whole life. Skeleton monsters (and most monster subspecies that have teeth) have eight over their lifetime. They loose and regrow teeth every 50 or so years so they don’t grind down into nothing over their lifetimes. The fact that older humans have to resort to dentures when they still have a good amount of years left in them low-key scares star.

Honey: all those plastic naked skeletons that humans like to hang outside for Halloween- that- that sh*ts weird to honey lol

Red: for red, it’s the lack of children specific clothing, mostly for the teenagers. With monsters, dressing their kids up in stripes or whatever was their AUs child “uniform” is a necessity, especially for the fells. Sometimes it’s hard to know at first glance if someone is still a kid or just a smaller adult monster. While it’s easy to tell with young human children, red doesn’t get why they don’t have a uniform for teens too.

Edge: the fact that all these human countries make food that’s basically slow acting poison and they’re just chill with it? Like no, edge doesn’t give a sh*t about how good takis taste!! “GET THOSE DEATH TRAPS OUT OF YOUR MOUTH- STARS DAMMIT!”

Mal: dairy, and the fact that humans looked at an animal, decided that milking it was normal, then how they created a slew of different dishes around this animals milk. Dairy wasn’t a thing in mals au, so the whole concept of milk and cheese sounded disgusting at first when he first heard about it.

Cash: humans, women especially, scents will change slightly as their hormones fluctuate. And for a monster with pretty bad eyesight, cash relies more on his sense of smell and hearing to identify people if they’re farther away. He’s been thrown a few times by his lady acquaintances smelling like almost completely different people after not seeing them for a week.

Oak: he hates that strange impulse some humans have that makes them want to stick their hands in his head hole. Like, if you saw an open hole in your fellow humans head, you wouldn’t want to shove your fingers in there?? So why him? Oak is normally very gentle with people, but he will snarl at you if you try this.

Willow: furries ….. unsettle willow. Like seeing a human in a fur suit gives him some serious uncanny valley feelings lol. There are animal like monsters like the bunnies, wolves and cats who are normal to willow. So seeing a fur suit that looks as if it’s attempting to imitate one, but doesn’t have it quite right is very creepy to him.
