2 WEEKS!!!!!

in 14 days I will be on the plane to Barcelona. it's crazy to think that I have only 2 weeks left with my friends and family for the rest of the year. I emailed my flight information again to my host family to confirm that they can come get me but I'm just so excited!!!!! I've started throwing things that I'm taking into my suitcase just to have them sectioned off from my other stuff and I really have no idea how I'm going to fit all my stuff for a full year in less than 50 lbs but I'll make it work.

last weekend (June 5th, 2016) we had our banquet where we got our Blazers and got together for the last time. we said good bye to all the inbounds which was sad :( but I'm super excited for next year!!

Sallent, Spain!!

My host family emailed me last week to tell me about themselves. They sound super nice and welcoming so I’m excited. They live in Sallent, Spain which is in the Catalonian region of Spain. 

My mother’s name is Anna who is a scientist and a teacher of biotechnology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. My father’s name is Andreu, he runs a business of software development and also works as an IT teacher at the same school that I am going to attend. They have two kids Berta and Biel. Berta is going to university in Barcelona and Biel is going to go on exchange to Canada. We have all added each other on facebook and Instagram to get to know each other better before I arrive. I am super excited!!!

last weekend we took all the exchange students from district 7980 to Okemo, Vermont where they met other exchange students from Vermont and New Hampshire. It was so much fun!!
