In the District AU, Lucy Gray takes on the role of a devoted guardian to Lenore Dove, raising her as if she were her own child. With most of her fledglings already grown and having left the nest to carve out their own paths in the ‘world’, Lucy Gray finds herself with an emptiness that only deepens following the heartbreaking loss of her beloved cousin. Yet, she holds no resentment toward Lenore Dove—how could she? The tragedy that brought her to Lucy Gray was no one’s fault, merely a cruel twist of fate and the bebe deserved a loving mother figure like she was to her kids.

Both CC and Coriolanus do not like Haymitch, although Coriolanus doesn’t like any boy coming to close to his girls…she’s almost as bad as clementine…

Lenore Dove calls Lucy Gray ‘Auntie Gray’ most of the time, the word “mom” only slipped a few times

Lenore Dove got a slight redesign!

I thought it’d be a good idea to finally make a reference sheet for my designs and honestly, I’m considering doing the same for all of my AU characters, or at least the main ones. It’s so much easier to create art when there’s an actual ref sheet to work from.

Its also good to practice

That said, this one took me ages to finish ^^’

I’ll probably end up changing her outfit in every artwork, just like I do with Lucy Gray, I can never seem to settle on just one look. Still, she will be returning to her old simple dress from time to time. I absolutely fell in love with it XD

In the hush of midnight, Lucy Gray gently roused little Clementine from slumber so she could finally witness the ✨glowing bugs✨that uncle Sejanus told her about. Initially reluctant to leave her cozy bed, Clementine's grumpy expression melted away into pure delight as she beheld the twinkling lights dancing around her.

(For the district AU), since Seganus is alive, when exactly does the story take a turning point from the canon material

(Also who is Seganus’ favorite out of all the little rascals he has had to lie to Corniolanus about in order keep his life/how would all the kids rank him in likeability)

The turning point occurs when Coriolanus chooses not to record Sejanus with the jabberjay. Instead, he takes a different approach, opting to guilt-trip and manipulate him. Coriolanus lies, claiming that if anything went wrong during the rescue mission, it wouldn’t just mean death for Sejanus and the others involved—it would also put Lucy Gray’s life at risk. He fabricates a scenario where their relationship would be exposed, arguing that Mayor Lipp only needs to hear a whisper of their connection to ensure their downfall.

Coriolanus frames this as being “for the greater good”—which, in his mind, means keeping Sejanus alive and out of trouble. He essentially places Sejanus on a metaphorical leash, limiting his actions and steering him away from risky decisions. As a result, Sejanus is unable to participate in Lil’s attempted breakout, which ultimately ends in her execution at the gallows. This pivotal decision alters the course of events and secures Sejanus’s survival, diverging significantly from the original canon.

He doesn’t have a favorite, he loves them all equally …alright be might have more of a deeper connection to Xanthos, he kinda sees himself in the kid but that doesn’t mean he loves him more then the others.

Now however the kids…they love him all equally, in their eyes he’s the cool uncle that brings them sweets every time he comes over and they swarm him like little feral pigeons going for the last breadcrumbs. With Sejanus, mom and dad’s rules don’t count, they know that, they use that, they’re feral little gremlins.
