Morning comes for Prince too early. Between an already crappy night the night before, the little sleep it let happen, and the copious amount of morning sickness he does not want to move from his bed. His alarm has gone off and he knows that he has to get up but Prince stays tightly curled up into his bed, refusing to acknowledge that his stomach was upset and that he was tired. So the blond stays under several blankets and keeps curled up, hoping the world might go away if he just pretended it wasn’t there. He knows it’s not now it works, but still...

Dirk doesn’t go to many people’s aids lately, between his own home life, work, and the few friends he can keep close he has no reason to run to people who have other options It’s cruel, he knows and will admit, but he is going to be there when a younger alternate calls for him. The alternate he had a strong affiliation too, one he was a trans man like him and honestly reminded Dirk so much of his younger years he couldn't help but want to guide him to avoid mistakes he himself had made.

Either way, Dirk is pressing in the code for his alternate the moment he was off work excusing himself from dinner even when his daughter protests. He sighs and kisses her head before he appears on the other side and looks around for the other blond.
