Morning comes for Prince too early. Between an already crappy night the night before, the little sleep it let happen, and the copious amount of morning sickness he does not want to move from his bed. His alarm has gone off and he knows that he has to get up but Prince stays tightly curled up into his bed, refusing to acknowledge that his stomach was upset and that he was tired. So the blond stays under several blankets and keeps curled up, hoping the world might go away if he just pretended it wasn’t there. He knows it’s not now it works, but still...

He tries.

❂ John didn't want to wake Prince for this but David was crying and it wasn't his diaper and he wasn't hungry, John had already tried to rock him in his arms and sing to him. "Prince, love, David won't stop crying and I don't know what's wrong..."

Prince hadn’t realized he had been sleeping so hard, but then again he suppose that was the point of sleeping that hard... It actually takes him a good few minutes to respond to John, sitting up on his elbow and blinking, looking tired and confused.

    “Wh-a..? Oh, okay,” He sounds still out of it, and whether that is from waking up or the cock tail of medications he had today is any one’s guess.

But he stands, giving the man a kiss on his cheek before taking his son into his hands. Softly rocking the fussing boy and humming to him. He still looks tired but is patience enough to deal with David for John. It takes a good twenty minutes to tame the child back to sleep but when he is back i his bed, Prince leans heavily into the man and yawns. “Thank you for getting up with him..”

“Maybe I’ve had a little too much…” John says as he wobbles, standing up had taken him a minute to long and it wasn't because of his age. They had gone out to dinner and the older man forgot that he hasn't been drinking lately, so of course the few beers he had went straight through his system.

A bubble of a laugh comes from Dirk while he is helping the older man up and away from the table they had spent the last few hours at. He can see the beer alone got far enough in the man’s system.  “Light weight.. I would have thought David would be a worse influence on you.”  He helps the man away from the table and kisses his cheek with a sense of delight, helping him the car.
