“True. More years of death and despair.” Rosa nodded. “Am I bad for being glad I got out when I did?” Marc shook his head. “No, you’re human.”
All together: "awwwwwhhhh."

All together: "awwwwwhhhh."
A strangled sound left his throat and he quickly turned around, hiding his face. He tried to calm his breathing. Why had he reacted like that? He was only a friend, they were only friends with benefits. He felt Keiran’s hand move up and down his back as everything went quiet.
Makes me tear up each time I read this part.
"Keiran stood and moved to the music as he approached the dance floor. He turned around, locking eyes with the man as he slowly started to move, trying to get a good feel for the music. He reached out with his senses making sure that he would not bump into anyone if he really started to get into the music. One of his favourite songs started to play and he started to flow his hips to the music, travelling his hands over his own body. The man was staring at him. He smiled and then closed his eyes, fully trusting that his movements would keep the guy entertained."
I seem to do most quotes from Keiran's POV, even though he isn't even the main character. I think it's because he is funny while the main character is more serious.
- Disturbed Fate - chapter 4
“Stop.” The voice was rough, stern, went to his groin immediately, but it made him still. “I should have guessed. That is how you knew I was here. Hmm.”
I still love this one little sentence. It describes so well how my secondary character thinks.
From: Disturbed Fate
Yuki played with the multicoloured bands on Dominic's wrist, they were the same colour as Yuki's hair, and the only thing colourful on Dom's otherwise black style.
Flashback/premonition time in Disturbed Fate.
Sudden power came close, not just the man, but others, not as strong but they were there. The hands multiplied, grinding became more and more erratic. The music slowed down to a more manageable level, making opportunity for long movements. Suddenly there was a breath in his neck, and teeth. Hands, teeth, hips, grinding, moving, lusting. The energy rose further, getting stronger, unity giving away to becoming, one, all. The music followed the energy, rising, speeding. Fluid movements, erratic movements, feeling, sensing. Moving, grinding, teeth. Keiran's breath hitched.
Another scene from Disturbed Fate.
Here the secondary couple is going on their first date.
Diana sat with him at the table and Marc entered with a bottle of wine. Red, just like they liked it. Keiran snickered and Marc shot him a look as he was filling up his glass. “How I still find it ironic how we all seem to love red wine.” Marc looked at him, his eyebrows raised. “I don’t and neither does Galen.” Next to him Diana exploded with laughter.
The things I find when editing, this is from Disturbed Fate. Keiran is a vampire and Diana a werewolf. Marc and Galen are magicians.
