“Looks like we’re going to amputate- Bennett!” Huxley yelled over an unconscious alien that made their way to the his clinic. There was a particularly nasty infection already reaching their ankle, and well, he very, most definitely wanted a hunk of it. Besides it was spreading pretty quickly, diseases like that had little time for tests or experiments. If broad anti-infection medicine didn’t help the patient would just lose more and more flesh.
And well- if it still came back after this, their would just be more information to identify it. The doctor pulled a sharpie from his lab coat and marked a few inches above the infected zone.
