All ended well. There was nothing to be sad about.

disturbians:
There was⌠a lot of blood. Well, not a lot compared to some of Huxleyâs other âassistedâ projects, but it was still pretty messy. It was kind of weird sometimes, being the one above the operating table instead of the one on it, but most of the time Bennett couldnât care less. If playing sidekick to some crackpot scientist was what was keeping him in one piece, he wasnât complaining. Besides, teflon didnât stain.
Henryâs words took a second to register in the boyâs brain before Bennett dropped the heavy chainsaw to hastily toss him the gritty black roll of duct tape. Inattentive as he was, he did manage to catch the hollow expression of gratitude moments before; a thankless job like this often garnered thankless results, so sometimes Henryâs empty politeness proved to be charming rather than infuriating.
For most people, watching their boss perform a duct tape operation would have been fascinating, but frankly the overall slowness of it and Bennettâs fickle teenage attention span didnât mix very well. Instead, he had picked up the adjacent bag and was rolling the severed foot inside it around between his thick rubber gloves, watching the way the blood pooled inside the plastic.
As Huxley worked, occasionally Bennett would glance over to the table, listening to the sharp sound of the tape and the hum of the overhead light. He let his eyes wander to the patientâs rather comatose-looking face. Like with pretty much everyone who found themselves inside Dr. Huxleyâs clinic, the stranger currently under the knife was nobody the boy knew. Frankly, he doubted even Henry knew any of these people.Â
Sometimes, he wondered if all the aliens that were getting turned into medical mincemeat had last names or families or homesânot that it really mattered in the end, but nonetheless, he still wondered.
âGonna keep this one? Kinda looks like heâs dying.âÂ
Peering from behind the older man, Bennett had almost considered resting his chin on his bossâ shoulder, but Henry was always a bit weird in regards to personal space, so he didnât bother.
The doctor paid no mind to his teen assistant, catching the duck tape with a hollow smile behind his mask and working to cover the now stitched up meat of this strangers new stump before some other infection reached it. Such fickle things bodies where.Â
Henry nearly used a quarter of the tape, to fixate the gauze securely for what would likely be a thrashing when the patient woke up to find their leg missing. Not that he concerned himself with the patients status beyond âAliveâ, and âNew Dummyâ. Another large portion of the duct tape was used to secure gauze over the skin graft location.
âThatâs just the pale of relief!â Itâs not- Henry moved around the patient to a few blood bags and plasma that he had prepared. âAnd if he canât hop out of here, theirs definitely room for another test corpse.â Perfect for solving what ever his foot had been over come with for starters, then maybe he could infest the corpse with more things needing to be solved.
The doctor set up the IV of blood into the patients arm, now if only moving all the blood out of this patient would be easy. Heâll just order some other assistant to clean up his mess, their was SCIENCE to be done!
âGo get Florence or Lecter would you, this place is a mess.â Huxley held his hand out demanding the foot Bennett still held.

LEAVE THE DOCTOR ALONE PEOPLE
@notsoincontrol (Aiden) liked for a starter with Charlotte
âThinking that, you gave up completely. Thatâs the same as being indifferent.â
The words ring like church bells. Loud, echoing, deafening. No matter how tightly she covered her ears, she could still hear it.
Although the room had no windows, Charlotte knew the shaky hours of the morning were beginning when she awoke. There was no doubt that all the tenants were awake too; Felix would still be working diligently as ever; Bennett would be up early to catch the first commercials; Huxley seldom slept at all. Yet, even with everyone awake at this hour, she couldnât help but feel⌠alone. Their daily greetings and words of affirmation always sounded the sameâempty.
Still, going back to bed was useless at this point, the girlâs body on auto-pilot as she exited the bedroom and made her way toward the kitchen. Although she wasnât due to wake for several hours, Aiden was already busy at work wiping down surfaces and organizing dishes. A true butler⌠Every morning without fail, he made sure a piping hot breakfast sat readily made for her, procured as if he had simply waved a magic wand. The thought of eating right now was nauseating.
âG⌠Good morning,â She forced the words out of her mouth. Speech was difficult too, it seemed.
Ugly red pools of blood and hair lingered endlessly in her mind, enunciated by the hushed, frenzied whispers and the incessant clicking of phone cameras. How could they just⌠stand there? And watch? Like it was some sort of TV show, something entertaining? Was there nobody who truly caredâŚ!? For godâs sake, someone could have stopped her; they could have prevented this, they could have saved her! Eyler didnât have to go through with this bullshitâ
âŚCharlotte Wiltshire was a hypocrite, and she knew it.
There was a soft clatter of silverware as the girl painstakingly drug her bare feet along the kitchen tile. The bile was beginning to rise in her throat and her stomach beginning to lurch, but being an inconvenience would be a fate worse than death, so she persisted.
âCan Iââ Too forward, too demanding. ââMay I have some tea, AidenâŚ?â
He was lucky to have just finished cleaning the table off, as his young master entered the room, at an unexpected hour of all times as well, the thought of trying to settle her back into bed crossed his mind. But undoubtedly she had likely been awake for some time, or she would not have left her room.Â
âGood morning Charlotte.â He replied softly, knowing if she was awake this early, she would still be waking up regardless of how long she may have been waiting to leave her room. Was she having trouble sleeping? Dexterous hands moved porcelain plates back into their respective cupboards, already hand dried from his washing.Â
Normally he would have breakfast prepared for her, though with her awake so suddenly nothing was quiet ready.
âOf course, hold on one moment dear.âÂ
Aiden closed the cupboard containing the bowls and plates, and moved to retrieve the kettle and a tea cup. He removed and began preparing everything over the stove top. Internally debating whether to ask how she was doing or not, knowing she was prone to internalize all her turmoils even when she comes home crying.
Well, if their was anything he could do, it was to follow her orders, and aid when he was asked.
As the tea was finally heating up he poured her cup and placed it gently in front of her, using his pinky as a cushion to reduce the noise of the cup clattering on the table.
âHere you are. a cup of Passion Flower tea. I hope this is to your liking.â
@notsoincontrol (Aiden) liked for a starter with Scarlett
To Scarlett, wandering 1F felt like being dumped in the middle of a maze without a map. So many doors, yet they all looked the same; she wasnât sure whereâor howâto go, didnât know what lay behind any of them⌠for all she knew, Wiltshire could be waiting on the other side.
And yet, she hesitantly kept trying doorknobs, desperate to find someone, anyone. The next one she tried was at the end of a corridor, adjacent to a room full of televisionsâshe didnât seem to notice (or perhaps was ignoring for the sake of her sanity) the streaks of blood that stained the wooden floorboards.
âU-Um,â She swallowed a bit before mumbling to herself. âIâm not on the wrong floor, am IâŚ?â
The creature within cast a shadow, hulking and massive just like the rest of it, and its expanse loomed its way over the narrow crack of light from the doorway. Scarlett could see it moving, a subtle twitch here and there, but even then, it didnât look necessarily alive⌠or even human, really. Long, tree-like extensions peeked out from the other side of itâthey looked kind of like antlers, but in this dim light and distance, the redhead couldnât really tell.
Honestly it was intimidating, like something from a childhood nightmare. Scarlett was thankful it wasnât looking in her direction (or at least thatâs what it looked like), and surely enough it may have been a sign that she should turn back now, that she should close the door gently and run, run back to the janitorâs closet from whence she came.
No, she was braveâcompared to that horror called Wiltshire, this thing was barely a monster under the bed. Besides, everyone else (though they were few) that she had met since entering 1F hadnât laid a finger on her⌠Perhaps this thing was no different?
Taking the smallest step forward, Scarlett cleared her throat, cautiously projecting her voice just enough to be heard; loudly startling this creature wasnât high up on her to-do list, especially when the rest of the room was full of⌠was that blood? And hair?
âEx⌠Excuse me.â
At the others entrance their dark head turned, all muttering stopped by a small inhale, as if the shape shifter where trying to take in all the noise back for them self. Silence filled the dark, bloodied room. This child-... Was not one who needed to be seen by them, so why where they here.Â
It looked down at the bloody matter in front of it, considering to continue their work, just a trim maybe, the item still needed to be cleaned up before he could give it to a certain spoiled cherished child. Still, this other was here, Krampus is not fit to deal with the good ones, but who was? Ah yes.Â
Their form shuttered a minuted as it loomed over the table, hunching their shoulders back and up almost inhumanly extending them back till they simply began expanding to cover their changing form.
A little more- this form wonât do-
The large bulging figure stopped expanding and instead snapped upright, appearing intimidatingly taller suddenly, and began to slowly reach a more proper height, hair grew over the bald smiling head and the only thing to stay consistent between these shapes had been the horns, resembling thin sickly tree branches on its head, and now âAidenâ stood looming over their bloody creation.
âItâs... Rather rude not to knock, isnât it Miss Eyler.â She wasnât a horribly naughty child, they could tell that much, it doesnât mean Krampus wasnât on the edge though. Producing a handkerchief from their from pocket and cleared blood from their hands.
âWhy.. I canât imagine youâre friends with Miss Wiltshire.â So just who brought in an unwelcome human into his stead. Disgusting, who knows what she was spreading or dirtying.Â
the-windchild:
Now that piqued her interest. It seemed to be a strange trait of hers, too. She always seemed to remind people of somebody in some way. It was kind of strange. But it was a bit of a better topic to be on. Aiden was quite polite, so his master was probably something similar.
âDo I, now?â she asked. âDo enlighten me. Whatâs she like? Iâm assuming sheâs a good person, since youâre so polite.â
âSheâs hospitable. We have other residents in the home. Sheâs also adventurous and studious.â After all, Charlotte was picking up on playing the piano rather quickly with his teaching.Â
âShe also wants to be treated on the same level as everyone else.â
the-windchild:
âI probably shouldnât guessâŚIâm not too good at guessing games,â she said, a bit unnerved. She sighed and rubbed the back of her head. âHow does Mister Aiden feel about working? There isnât a lot of freedom with this kind of jobâ you arenât able to go anywhere!â
Had she been taller, or had Aiden been shorter, Mika wouldâve leaned up and pat the butlerâs head in a sympathetic way. She held her hands behind her back and took a step back to prevent herself from bothering to attempt it. âPoor Mister AidenâŚâ
âI donât need to go anywhere, my master is my purpose after all, so is the life of a butler.â Besides chores and other needs that required him to leave, like grocery shopping. Charlotteâs floor was all he was interested in.
âYou know, you remind me of her, with how young you are. Of course shes much older now.â Aiden let his idle thought slip out in hopes that it could change from her sadder mood- still this was around the age he had met Charlotte Wiltshire.
the-windchild:
Mikaâs face heated up a bit and a blush swept to her face. âW-wellâŚI only deserve so muchâŚâ She struggled a bit, not quite sure how to explain. She wasnât the best child in the world, so not too much respect should be given. Though, even if she was a better child, it still felt strange being called âmissâ at a young age.
âA butlerâŚSo thatâs why youâre so polite. You were trained to be that way, I guess?â Mika asked, trying to collect herself. âHow long have you been working, Mister Aiden?â
Well that made sense, even she would act like a child at heart. Aiden chose to stop pushing her on the small matter.
âAh well lets see it has been a few years. Though probably not as long as youâll guess.â In fact he really hadnât had much training either.. Maybe it was nature?.. Trying to think back on it was futile and he had known that already.
do you like girls who want to be seen as how they perceive themselves? do you like girls with denial issues? maybe on the delusional side? iâm here to gently place an rp blog for CHARLOTTE WILTSHIRE from the hello charlotte games here for you!

the-windchild:
âNow, nowâŚno need for that âMiss Mikaâ stuff. Youâre older than I am, so you neednât use formalities on me.â Mika waved her hands a couple times, and did her best to hide her displeasure at the formality by keeping up an amiable smile. Hopefully that wasnât too insulting, but oh how she despised formalities on herself.
She tilted her head a bit when he took a pause in saying what he was. A boring shape shifter. âMister Aiden is nothing but a boring shape shifter? Well, I suppose itâs better than a murderous demonâŚâ
âAh so you donât want to be treated that Maturely then?â It enticed a small chuckle from Aiden.Â
âWell Iâm also a butler, but that isnât as exciting as a murderous demon either.â Or a inter-dimensional alien doctor, their where certainly colorful characters but Aiden wasnât one of them.

Bold will be Aiden (krampus) ; Italics will be HuxleyÂ
john keats: the lavender in sunsets, flowers in the rain, sunlight slipping through clouds, lazy summer afternoons, the heavy scent of musk, flickering candlelight reflecting off the gold titles of books, fireflies on a cool summer night, being wrapped in fresh bedsheets, the ache of wanting what you can never have, dripping sunlight like gold, loving someone so exquisite, soft lips and soft whispers, fingers through hair, names of lovers carved in trees, broken glass, the insistence of being perpetually dreamy.
f. scott fitzgerald: mahogany wood, crisp winter skies with cold bright stars, the solitude of an early autumn morning wrapped in fog, empty bottles on stacks and stacks of books haphazardly placed in a messy room, pale bruised arms reaching out into the darkness, cigarette smoke just barely hiding the scent of alcohol, a wall of books all poetry and old and weathered, a bad thunderstorm occurring at the end of a beautiful day, the way tragedy strikes in your heart but ends up stopping your breathing for a moment, your favorite sweater, parties spilling into four a.m. with the stars above spinning and dancing, the contrast of blood against snow, a purple split lip oozing blood, black eyes fading to blue to pale skin, the butterflies of falling in love for the first time, the statues falling apart over time in cemeteries, the romanticization of self-destruction
franz kafka: the weight of dread that sits heavily in your stomach when thinking about the future, decrepit houses cloaked in mystery from children telling stories of people who died there, the way not even light can escape a black hole, the rich smell of old books, delicate veins in the wrist, ghosts filling lungs, shattered bones, raindrops on the tongue, rusting metal, nostalgia that aches, the way hope feels like a plastic bag over your head
h.p. lovecraft: the anxiety felt when staring into an unknown cave, pouring rain and mud, a childâs fear of the dark, thinking so many questions about your existence as you stare at the vast expanse of never ending ocean, the silence of three a.m., danse macabre by camille saint-saens playing on a record in an empty house, the possibility of aliens and the weird feeling it gives you that you canât explain, unexplainable phenomena, strange lights in the sky in the dead of night, ouija boards and urban legends
jack kerouac: the brisk pine air of being on a mountain, travels without a destination, those nights where youâre missing three hours of memory, screaming to a lifeless desert about how youâre so alive, coffee shops late at night, car rides at night spent speeding and laughing in the dark, naps spent in the sun, novels highlighted and underlined with notes and epiphanies in the margins, the way uncertainty sits on the shoulders, ignoring flaws and loving life, wind through hair, depression as fog in the brain, impossible ideals, a quiet sunrise, walks alone, when you think about trying to discover all the secrets to the universe, dazzling people, open lands stretching out into infinity, falling in love with being alive
edgar allan poe: the oceanâs horizon inseparable from fog, hollow bones, a preserved heart held in hands, twinkling stars above an old graveyard, the way everything turns to dust, silent black birds with eyes full of wisdom, self-inflicted flames, perfection depicted as a rotting corpse, death as bricks in the heart, lips barely brushing against each other, glassy glazed eyes, biting into a lemon, heart-shaped bruises, rotting flowers on a grave, dried blood and spilled liquor, the hush of dusk when it begins raining, the intimacy of a secret

âTrue, true. One small step at a timeâŚâ Mika agreed, loosening up a bit. There was no reason to be so tense around the gentleman.
âMister never told me his name. What is it?â she asked. âIâm MikaâŚa boring human.â Maybe that would be enough implication to hint that she was curious on what this person was. He did have horns, after all. It was possible he was a demon, but he seemed a bit too friendly and charming to be one of those.
âItâs very brave to take those steps to change. Miss Mika.â Miss Mika Clark... Ah that was straight forward. The butlers gloved hand came up to his horns and gave them a gentle tap.Â
âMy name is Aiden, and I am... a boring shape shifter.â His true nature often eluded him when not in the presence of bad children. Though he wasnât totally lying Aiden couldnât shake the feeling he had just lied.Â
the-windchild:
âPhilosophicalâŚPhilosophicalâŚâ Mika repeated under her breath, logging the word into her head. What a gentleman this person wasâ helping her instead of teasing her.
âSeeâŚPeople say I still act too immature. So I think if I try to use smarter phrases, people will take me a little more seriously. I want people to know that I know what Iâm talking about,â Mika said, hoping that would be a suffice answer. Though, it still probably didnât make much sense. âBut if I canât remember a big word like philosophical, Iâm still not doing too well, you know?â
Aiden gave a nod to show that she was now pronouncing it correctly.Â
âI see. Well just speaking more sophisticated is a single step.â Personally the butler wasnât keen on children acting older, but having taken care of Charlotte so long he knew how hard it could be fore children to be taken seriously. So instead of telling her to just act like a child the shape shifter would just use large words with her as she seemed to wish.
