hiii everyone

so my hiatus has definitely been longer than I anticipated. I had a lot going on but I am going to try and write this weekend, we’ll see how that goes.

However, I would like to just put out there that this past week I have had the pleasure of getting to spend my time with @disturbxnces​. She flew all the way here, we bussed it to New York, saw the Jonas Brothers, ate breakfast at the apartment building from Friends and walked all over the city, bussed it all the way back here, got matching tattoos, and overall just had a blast (and watched a lot of Life with Derek? don’t ask).

So, while I wanted to just keep an update about my hiatus and say I should be back soon, I also just wanted to share some highlights of what had to be one of the best weeks of my life.

DO YOU TEND TO HOLD GRUDGES AGAINST PEOPLE WHO HAVE DONE YOU WRONG? No, life is too short. There’s a reason we are taught to forgive, or you’d be incredibly lonely. That being said I’d be very wary and it would be noticeable from then on.

IN A RELATIONSHIP? no, but I do have 3 kids to take care of.

‘ You must be Stark ’ Steve’s face turns first, the commotion surrounding the back of the room garnering his attention more so than the open space in front. The last dealings he had with a Stark had been with Howard, the guy who had made all of this possible, and though the guy was arrogant and cocksure, a friendship had been formed that had earned him loyalty. A hand extends itself as a greeting when she approaches ‘ it’s nice to finally meet you ’

Wanda turned when the door opened behind her, flinching as the items she had been manipulating with her powers crashed to the ground once her focus broke. The reaction was both to the loud noise of the heavy items hitting the ground, but also the fact that it was a clear demonstration that when her emotions weren’t firing on high, her more brute force abilities were hit or miss. She sighed, pushing her hair back behind her ears. “Hey Carol, what’s up?”

Emma: 

Emma paused, surprised by the question, jarred back into reality and away from her own thoughts. After a moment of just blinking and staring at Ruby, she finally let out a sigh. “Is it that obvious that I’m in a bad mood?” Apparently so. She had stopped her determined walk to nowhere in particular when Ruby caught her attention, but standing still was making her feel jittery. Emma started pacing.

“I’m not fighting anyone. I’m running away from fighting anyone, because I don’t think Henry would forgive me if I punched Regina’s teeth in,” Emma vented. “So I’m putting as much distance as I can between the Mayor and myself.”

     “I was just KIDDING, Emma,” Ruby added instinctively, emitting a bit of a nervous laugh. She hadn’t expected the other to get all that serious, but apparently her comment had been spot-on. She really had been in the mood to fight, except she didn’t want to give in to it, and for good reasons, too, it would seem. Still, ever the lover of excitement, Ruby was slightly disappointed by Emma’s determination NOT to fight. It would’ve been a lot more entertaining, if she had — and who wouldn’t like to see Regina get slapped for once. Not that Ruby had a problem with her specifically… it was just an odd dislike based on nothing, like a bitter aftertaste that wouldn’t go away. 

     “Actually, that sounds pretty good. Care to join me for a hike? I’m definitely not wearing the right shoes for it, but I’ve been DYING to go for a stroll in the forest.” The offer was made with a smile and the best intentions, although she doubted Emma would accept. “At least then you’ll be running TO something, instead of running away?”

“Where were you for every single battle we’ve fought in the past?” She said, raising her eyebrow ever so slightly as she looked at Carol, leaning against the wall. All of the Avengers had been through a lot -- almost too much. They needed more help, more people to assist them in saving the world. “You just like to show up when it’s convenient? Or are you just bored?” She wanted it to sound teasing, but her tone of voice was probably failing her. Trusting new people wasn’t exactly something that Natasha did very well, and well this was apparently just another person with powers that was popping up. Forgive her if she didn’t want to trust them.

Then again, Natasha hadn’t really trusted anyone before. 

“Are you going to suddenly disappear off the face of the earth? Or can we actually depend on you to help us?”

The King had ended up somewhere new. He had already been to the Sand Village in this region. Now this place was the Leaf Village right? I suppose it was time to explore it. Which he was going to do. Until he saw.. This village had a deity!? A divine being!? A goddess!? Seriously!? A women with pink hair that was natural. That couldn’t be! She was an angel or something. He stuck in a state of awe. Not realizing that villagers had confused him for someone else and were glaring.

           well, it was safe to say she was happy with how the day to how it actually worked out but also didn’t like some things about it either. jake was tying up some loose ends however which left amy by herself, but the brunette found herself at their normal bar, in their normal section, cradling a wine glass in her hand. she did however feel a weight being lifted off of her shoulders though, but she was still feeling weird. she was so caught up in the thoughts swirling around her mind that she didn’t realise rosa had sat down in the booth with her “rosa...what brings you by? needing a drink after today?”.
