Words of the Day
harrowing: acutely distressing.
‘ditter’: to chat meaninglessly back and forth for several seconds or in just a few exchanges such as texting, commenting on social posts social posts or picture exchanges.

‘Dittering’ isn’t a real word. It’s an internet word. I’m sure it came from the word ‘dither’ being mispronounced, as many words tend to come about. I learned it just now and it’s literally the REASON I loathe texting. It’s meaningless back and forth nonsense, not meant to build a relationship or a bond between any two or more parties. Not meant to converse, nor learn and grow, just meant to kill time. It’s foolishness and a waste of energy. Especially prolonged texting that everyone seems to always want to do with me.
If what you had to say to that person was so important you would have called or went to see them. You didn’t do that because what you said probably wasn’t that significant. The issue I have is that everyone knows this but is somehow still allowing text messages to ruin their relationships with loved ones. I don’t get it. If it’s not that serious, why do we keep making it so serious?
That last part was just a rant.
It’s 2023 and unfortunately I’m still dealing with adult people getting mad at me for not texting them....like we’re 12.....or like it was an emergency they HAD to hear about. Fun fact: It’s not a crime to call someone. Everything doesn't have to give you anxiety.
People are actually really happy whenever I call them 😎🥰 I’m talking super elation!..................You should try it. Make someone smile.
