So I know we all LOVE the idea of beautiful grace biblically accurate space angel saving Simon, or Simon crashing into/bring inexplicably popped into existence to the Mary-

But wouldn't it be so much funnier to imagine Rocky is the one to go into the blood planet and get him?

Rocky: "There is life on Moon. Humanoid. Heart beat is slow."

Grace: "A human on THAT?"

Rocky: "Human or human predator."

Grace would absolutely brave anything for Rocky, but Rocky is VERY protective and reasonably harder to kill. So, he goes into the blood ocean.

Simon is dying and experiencing The Horrors™, as per usual, and the sm-13 is flooded.

Rocky emerges from the vents, high on the chance of getting to redo his introduction to a (heavily mutated) human: "Hello :D I am Rocky. Rocky from Erid, not from movie, and I am here to help you and befriend you and bring you to my other human :D"

Simon, crying: "Why is the giant spider in a ball-?"

I like to imagine, in all the terrible and crazy ways Simon and Grace could meet, that in one of those moments... Grace is excited to finally see another human in space!

"Oh! A human!" :O

And then... Just a heart beat later, he thinks that he was taking too long and Earth sent someone ELSE on a death mission.

"Oh. A human."

And it makes him angry.

In regards to this post, I too think that grace would and should fight dirty...

Grace would already be crazy happy to see another human (more or less) and if Simon responds to that excitement with (understandable) violence, then it's possible the adrenaline would make him a little... Feral.

Your first human contact in like a year is a punch in the face, wyd?

But like

He has access to EVERY movie on EARTH.
