#diva says stuff #im staying with my cousin and i tried to leave when the presidential debate started #made it very clear that i did not feel comfortable watching it for my own mental health #(for the record i cannot vote and i was planning on reading a summary of the debate when i was in the right mindset)#but she insisted that i stay so i could explain the political topics to her #(neither of us are from america but i know more about american history and politics than her)#the 2016 presidential debate happened at my uni and left me feeling like? i wanted to scream but i also had faith in the american people #to be critical thinkers #but that didnt go so well #so now im left with wanting to scream + having no faith in the american public to go out and vote #and my tenuous hold on like? happiness? feeling not anxious for the first time in a year?? lasted only 2 weeks #and i really wanted to preserve it by not watching the debate but i could not get out of it so pLEASE if you have funny or cute things PLEAS #i just feel so defeated and i do not want to feel like this at all
