Ok, I am trying to think of the best ten things to say:

1. I am incredibly nerdy, and have residual nintendofanboy tendencies

2. I am a book hoarder, and have a library of over 300 books I have purchased over the years (I worked at Barnes and Noble for 3)

3. I have like over 15 pairs of shoes that I have accumulated and can still wear

4. I am a vegetarian, but not always the best one

5. I have been to Northern India and Western Europe, as well as around the Southern United States and the West Coast.

6. I have reached a point where I have desexualized men's abdominal muscles because they usually correspond to an empty head.

7. I am awkwardly obsessed with the zodiac and strongly identify with my Aquarius sign.

8. I used to be a picky eater as a child, but now I will violate my vegetarianism to try new dishes. I am very proud of myself for growing up in this particular life area.

9. I am a second-generation queer, as my mother is a lesbian. Between my mom's girlfriend and my dad's second wife I have 7 siblings.

10. I am a totally different person than I was 2 years ago and i am proud of the changes I have made (:

Some shit

So this is the blog I said I would set up to post my writings and experiences while abroad this summer. My plan is to use this as a place to put my field note shit online. They're fairly reflexive and will primarily concern what I see and feel while out here traveling. I'll be writing about every day I'm here, at least for the first month. I don't plan on these being too structured as I'm writing largely for myself. They won't sound academic and will be writing chronologically except for when I don't. I hope you enjoy them. If you don't then I apologize. Also I would love for questions and criticisms. It would make me very happy. Thank you.
