This weekend Shearwater launched their newest dive computer, the Shearwater Peregrine. We've been asked by some of our subscribers about our thoughts on the new product, and whilst I have some concerns about the timing of the launch, I think its likely to be another cracking product by Canadian firm Shearwater. It's aimed at the mid-market tech-reational set and comes with more that a passing nod to the Shearwater Perdix and Petrel2 in terms of style, display and software. In this video, Gary compares the Shearwater Peregrine against some other popular models it might be competing against, including the Mares Quad Air, DeepBlu Cosmiq+ and the Suunto Eon Core, to see where it might fit into the market at its launch price of $450. Check out the key features and thoughts here... We're looking forward to doing our first hands on review as soon as we can get our sticky mitts on one too. What are your thoughts?
