Brief (and surface) history of United States political parties. As you can see, things weren't always simply Democrat and Republican; they were always corporate.

So Long to the Inferno
So much for anger
Annihilation
Slips away from me like sand
So long to the inferno
Scorched swiftly in a dream
~
I’m no longer weighed down
By deadly words or deeds
The need has died within me
I float on, I float on
~
Never mind to desolation
To the iron binds of war
What would have trapped us in our corners
Locked, loaded and frightened
~
So much for zero hour
For our century of ashes
Blood shed among brothers
Amid a season of havoc

You know what they aren't though? United.
So since we're renaming things willy nilly now, let's rename them The Divided States.
Blind Patriotism

Me being a citizen of The Divided States of America, I am embarrassed by leadership and the values we extol. The most patriotic thing we can do is question a “regime” when it runs afoul. I don’t care all that much what happens to our form of. government . I do care about the people…

Countries are Not Checkmarks
What countries do you want to visit? I have been to many and hopefully will get to many more. The question might be what culture do you want to experience? I have always wanted to visit Albania. There are so many countries I have not been to and I think somehow Albania comes up first alphabetically. For now I am happy going to Germany often as I have family there. I am learning the language…

Gladiatrices & Giant Border Walls: Two Tales of a Future America To Be Released Through Nomadic Delirium Press
More terrific news, and a nice birthday present – Nomadic Delirium Press, a very fine outfit from Colorado led by the terrific J Alan Erwine, have accepted another of my short stories and are also going to reprint an earlier e-book release in paperback format. The funny thing is, both stories are set in Texas.
First off, my science fiction tale The Games Go Onis set to get its premiere release…
