Yesterday was garden work, today I'm deep cleaning my bedroom. I just got distracted with my altar area and decided to count my divination decks after 16 years of collecting.

I have finally finished the first leg of a rather dubious occult project that has been rattling around in my brain for the last year or so--a customizable Tumblr Oracle Deck. And when I say 'customizable' I mean that I have completed a very simple version of the deck without any clipart/blingees. The idea is that anyone can print the deck themselves (because I can't be making money off of some stuff I literally took from tumblr, aside from a small convenience fee to cover my time and prototyping fees) for their personal use. They can also open up the files and customize these cards with their own clip art/memes/additional digital collage to give it deeper meaning. No, I will not be taking any criticism / callouts for having images of people who get cancelled. I have no idea what real people look like and can only reliably identify 2d anime husbandos. I prosopagnosia and can only reliably identify like 6 IRL people ok. The social contract here is that you cannot claim the deck concept for yourself--WE ALL contributed to it. You cannot print the deck to make a profit off of. But, you are welcome to print as many as you want for personal purposes, for wedding favors, as holiday presents, etc. You are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to customize the deck and make your own edition and link back. Yes, there will be more cards. Yes, there will be expansion packs. I have included a link where I got the deck printed for my own prototyping purposes on the product page. This deck includes 79 fronts, including many greatest hits of this hellsite. The back is TWO important internet person checkmarks. If you want to make your own riffs and your own cards, PLEASE DO SO AND LINK ME SO I CAN GAZE UPON THEM.

Next Kickstarter Appreciation post--the recently arrived Spirit Cats Oracle from @ghostkittenart! This is such an adorable deck :D :D :D I’m still getting to know these kitties, but I can say for now that I really love the artwork, and I’m enjoying reading the backs and getting a better feel for the cards. I’ll post a proper deck review for this sometime in the future :)
Finally tackled a project I've been meaning to get to for some time--transferring my deck collection to this little bureau. I've found it to be useless for storing clothing because the drawers are so narrow, but I thought it would be perfect for this not only because the shallow drawers would make it easy to sort through decks but also because it has a pull-out writing surface above the top drawer (which I forgot to photograph) which would be useful for readings (or it will be after I move! I’ve already begun preliminary packing and as you can see a lot of my stuff is in piles >_<).
I managed to fit them all--every tarot, oracle, and playing card deck I own, minus the Sailor Moon ones (which are with that collection) and two that a friend is currently borrowing. Altogether I counted 114 decks. It might be time for a deck sale.
