Bonding with my new tarot deck by doing an interview reading. Things look promising.
I don’t know how my family put up with me
When I was a girl, I had this terrible habit of telling my family what song was going to come on the radio in the next few minutes, what movie would play before we would get the tv guide, when our favorite rerun would air, how many more times we’d have to sit through the same annoying commercial...if only I had a dollar for every time my mother would say, “How do you DO THAT?!” Wish I knew mom. Wish I knew.
I have become one of those witches who hoards tarot decks
I promised myself I wouldn’t start collecting tarot decks. I like to collect things too much. But it was love at first sight! Instant attraction! This deck has beauty beyond compare! My justifications were numerous; I lacked a deep connection with my first deck, we’d simply outgrown each other, this new deck could THE ONE (the deck I was MEANT to have!), my old deck wasn’t as attractive, it was a birthday gift to myself, etc...yes, I am one of THOSE witches. And it feels pretty good. I didn’t before, but now I understand why diviners usually end up with multiple decks. It’s hard to find the right fit the first time. Like searching for the perfect mate in a way.
