But she had promised her boss to write an article about this event in the park, and had asked him to accompany her. The decorations were simply amazing - a lot of pink, roses and other flowers, a lot of hearts and heart-shaped symbols. Oh, and cake, of course. A lot of cake and cupcakes. It was very clear from the setting alone which vibe this new bakery/coffee shop combo that had just opened across the street was aiming for.

“I just hope those cakes are also meant to eat, and not just to look pretty. I mean, it would be a shame to let them go to waste, right?”

Luke obviously sounded frustrated. He was still a Rookie. Which meant, in cases like this, he would run around searching for witnesses, which was often a really fruitless task. Most people did not want to get involved into whatever was going on. “You are already the fifths person I am asking,” He then added. “It seems no one has seen or heard anything yet.”
