YO! Nah divine favour is intentionally left vague-ish, but it basically boils down to "I like you and I'll stick around and give you a blessing whenever it's needed."
Reader kissed Sukuna to bestow the blessing on him originally, but there was already some affection brewing between those dumb idiots, and reader is a cheeky lil guy who wants to kith a big scary sorcerer.
"Divine Favour" is moreso "the divines (I) favour you, therefore you are blessed and will receive more luck/fertility/etc" rather than "let me do you a favour," even though reader is indeed doing a favour by giving his divine favour (how many times can I say favour in one sentence?).
THEREFORE, reader is agreeing to shepherd the college in a similar way to how he tended to the palace and it's garden and residents in a maternal way. Homie just wants to take care of shit and tend to shit to make him feel like he has a purpose 😭
