Demigods who are human until they're not, who are mortal until they're not, who never understand the Gods until it's too late, until they're too divine, too natural to the world, how could the Gods treat them this way, they ask as if the inevitability of their nature will not make others wonder the same about them.
They insist if they were a God they would never be that way. That they would not forget who they are. But they don't realize that morals do not guide a storm, the winds do.
