An open field on the outskirts of the city, a sound coming from far away. For some reason, Airos found himself trying to find the source of it, assuming it would be the doing of a human. He was wrong.

Getting closer, he noticed the figure, unsure of its nature. He doubted his senses that told him it was, indeed, a human. It had the shape, but its presence didn't really feel like one. Was he really human? He would find out.

Stepping closer, kind of defensive. He raised his voice to call out to the other.

"Are you human? If not, what are you, if I may ask?" He went straight to the point, wanting to receive the answer as soon as possible.

What in the fuck is that? Is that a gremlin? Hawks blinked a couple of times, stepping closer to whatever it was. It was definitely a person. But he looked so weird. Then again, who was Hawks to judge. But this gremlin looked like he didn’t belong.

Red eyes narrow into perfect slits as he stared at the person standing (floating??) before him. He was definitely interested. His scientist side wanted to experiment on the creature. His hand came up to run down the beak of his mask before dropping to his side.

          Honey-colored eyes roamed the expanse of the bar, pausing over each patron with predatory calculation. Nothing yet. Too loud, a friend group, too buff; every single person looked like they were more trouble than they were worth. He mulled over the idea of waiting or going home when the statement reached his ears. Turning in his seat, calloused fingers tapped against the side of his mug, one brow raised incredulously.          ❝Oh, ja? You think so? I’m a pretty boring guy, I’d say!❞ That all-too-pleasant smile never faltered despite the odd and too-bold approach. ❝… You here alone, buddy?❞
