"Why do we always fuck or fight? Why don't you take me out? I like steak. I like seafood (don't let him eat seafood). I like ASPARAGUS. No, you just want to put a cock in me or a draw a sword on me, sometimes those fucking things are interchangeable. Take me out. We're a couple, let's do that."

"Michael."
The greeting is stiff and Kage doesn't bother so much with pleasantries this time. Not after his....encounter with Raphael, scuttling like a rat into his own house like he owned the place. The entitlement....and yet...where does such a thing come from if not the elder brother, the example that they all followed?
Ah, Michael. Such a complicated celestial, unique, Kage supposes, in his own way because of his often outrageous perception and way of interacting with others.
Kage is keen to avoid speaking to him at all if he can help it, feeling increasingly unsettled every time and leaving his vicinity with thoughts either dripped in red or plunged in ice, there's no in between. This time is a bit different though, Kage is the one who called the summons, because as it was....he did have something to say to him.
"I have good news for you, Michael. I cut one of my ends loose, let him find the nest for us. I should have done it sooner of course, but unfortunately...I had....an obligation. "
There is a chess table between unlike where they were before when last they met, an open area, a park....but that never matters to Michael when he's teetering toward the dramatic. It won't matter here, either....Kage is sure.
He interlocks his fingers, addresses Michael over them.
"Of course that loose end is overconfident as always, and relishes in the very idea of my pursuing him. I don't mind taking the time to....humble someone. But my calling you here....I wanted to....extend an invitation for you to....partake."
