Dragons, huh? Before coming here, tales of dragons felt like simple fairy tales, or maybe over-embellished stories of Guardians. Now, being in Eirol, it seemed that most people here had some sort of draconic blood. It was unnerving, for sure... but I had spent the past few days as a cat, so I was getting used to the existence of hybrid humanoids.
Being in Xalphina has its benefits, as well. There were ample pools of concentrated magical energy all around, and when I could get the chance, resting near them helped me refresh after using so much Invisibility. I had been doing just that, at a relatively secluded pool, when I spotted Kamui walking right over.
In a panic, I forgot I could even turn invisible, trying to find a quick exit route before, at the last moment, attempting to shift gravity to get away - before learning, in that unfortunate moment, that my shifting had been limited by this realm, and I was unable to use it at the moment.
After fully realizing my limits, I made eye contact with the Draken man, and froze up.
“...I don’t want to fight. I’ll leave if you want.”
