training time was elias' favorite time of the day, really. officially, it was. because yeah, as a son of zeus in camp, he ... well, there were some ..expectations or something, but elias was very much not ...what people thought or expected. he left with all his stuff; his swords & his armor every day & he'd do a bit of training, but - if someone was to watch very closely, they'd realize he was taking extravagantly long breaks between sessions. one could say the training sessions were the breaks... from reading. what could he say? he just ... enjoyed it more than training. he wasn't bad at fighting per se, he just... didn't feel like it was what he should be doing. or maybe he felt he wasn't made for it, because when he set out to punch that dummy off its feet with a mighty fist... he found himself stumbling & missed it.
soft sigh.
"time for a break." he hummed quietly to himself as he already made his way back over to where he dropped all his shit by a bench, flopped down with a content little noise & pulled his book from his bag again. flipping a few pages to return to where he'd ended about half an hour ago, he was back in another world almost instantly & happily trapped in it for a good hour before a cough pulled him from it. it wasn't directed at him, was it? no way. (it wasn't.) but still, eyes roamed until he found someone else doing pretty much exactly what he did & he didn't sit far. how did he miss him joining him here? he glanced over some more & couldn't help grin at him. "don't like training either?"
