Divisional Weekend
In my opinion, last weekends games did not live up to the hype, at all. Those were supposed to be some of the best games we've seen all season and that clearly wasn't the case. The Redskins/Seattle game was supposed to be "THE" game but with an injured RG3 that game fell flat.
THIS WEEKEND is what it's all about. At least 2 or 3 out of the 4 games anyway.
Here's a look at the playoff picture/divisional weekend.
Ravens at Broncos: I want to pick the Ravens SOOOOOO BAD. I have been contemplating this pick all week long. But just because I am being biased about the Ravens, doesn't mean they will actually win. Nor do I think they will win. However, I do think it will be a LOT closer then their matchup a few weeks ago. Keeping my fingers crossed for this game, but, I am picking the Broncos over the Ravens.
Packers at 49ers: Go Pack Go! Not confident in Colin Kaepernick.
Seahawks at Falcons: If I had to pick a game of the week, this would be it. This is going to be a good game. With Chris Clemons' out, Atlanta will have the distinct advantage. Although, I think this game will be very, very close. I'm going with the Dirty Birds to end Matt Ryan's 0-3 streak in the playoffs. I had Seattle picked up until this morning.
Texans at Patriots: Patriots. Patriots. Patriots. The Texans don't have what it takes to keep up with the thriving New England offense. Not to mention Brady will his his 4 core receivers back and healthy at the same time for the first time since week 1. I except a big play or two from the defense as well heading into the AFC Championship on a good note.
I'm hoping that these games are more entertaining then the Wildcard Weekend games last weekend. The Ravens/Broncos game as potential to be a really good game as long as the Ravens don't fall far behind early in the game. The Packers/49ers game and the Seahawks/Falcons game will both be really good games. And the Patriots/Texans game will be good for me because I am a Patriots fan, but it too has potential to be a good game as long as the Texans don't fall too far behind. We all saw how that turned out for them last time...
