Hola, so I've seen a lot of debate about a Latino day on tumblr as some people claim it is piggybacking off of blackout. As a member of the black community, do you think a Latino day would be good or is it appropriating a successful black movement?

I think it’s fine! I feel that all POC should have their day to show off their beauty.  I actually feel like Latinos/Latinas don’t get enough love on here.  They deserve their day too.  I feel that as a POC, I’m happy to see other POCs sharing their beauty with us, as I’m sure a number of them, like black people, have grown up feeling inferior and are most likely just finding themselves to be beautiful, as they should!  It’d be good to give them a chance to show off a bit, if they’d like too :)

ideally, somebody who doesn’t feel the need to even be my husband. I don’t really need marriage, and it seems like an unnecessary hassle to me. Someone who can keep up with me intellectually, who can call me out but doesn’t have a problem getting teased themselves. They have to be passionate about something, it doesn’t matter if it’s something I’m also interested in or not. They would be protective rather than annoyed by my sensitivity, I need somebody who can help me stand up for myself or step in for the times that I can’t. I like to feel like I matter to a person, that they make it clear they do rely on me in some way, and I need them to be genuine. There’s nothing that bothers me more than when a person isn’t real with or about themselves; as somebody who is extremely introspective and analytical/critical when it comes to myself I find the lack of this trait in another person abhorrent.

Film

Once I brought my polaroid camera to a party and someone picked it up to look at it and I was like, "Hey be care-" but then I was interrupted from telling them not to press the shutter button by them pressing the shutter button. And then i was like, "Yeah those basically cost three bucks a picture." And the person never gave a fuck. And their picture was shitty.
