Waffle Duo and Divorced Duo in Life Series. Sometimes I can't warp my head around the fact that how similar yet different these two duos are. Mumbo and Grian are each other's go-to person (mostly), and it's the same for Etho and Bdubs (also mostly); however, when you confidently assume each of these two duos would team up, both of the duos don't. And if you think about their interactions, a lot of them tend to end badly, because whenever they are around each other, they encourage each other's bad ideas, and from there it's just a disaster waiting to happen.
Now the differences between Waffle Duo and Divorced Duo, I feel like, is that Bdubs and Etho have some kind of rivalry gong on? The closet thing I could use to describe this is that, when they play-fight they aim for the throat, and they are always play-fighting. Mumbo and Grian don't play-fight, they get together to mess around and to perform bad ideas. And imagine this:
They are near a lava pool, Waffle Duo tries to hug while standing beside it, and one of them try to tickle the other and ends up falling into the lava. Now, Divorced Duo makes a game out of trying to maximize the danger, probably would do something like a push fight to see which one of them is better than the other, with one of them ends up falling into the lava as well.
To conclude, Waffle Duo doesn't really think about death while Divorced Duo makes a game out of it almost intentionally.
There's this line that I wrote in a draft: he tried too hard to touch, so it burned. It was meant for Waffle Duo after session 6 of Secret Life, but now I think about it...
I mean, it still applies to both. The question is, which duo fits this line the best?
